Hermione growled as she read the front page of latest copy of the Daily Prophet.

She stopped reading before she neatly folded her copy of The Daily Prophet. She tossed it on the table beside the sofa.
From his armchair, Draco smiled over his own copy. "Love, it's tough to keep it a secret when we're the best." He paused. "That and your best friend's wife works there..."
She glared at him as she cradled her lower abdomen. "I hope our child takes after me instead of you. You're an arrogant prat."
"I'm all for dismissing blood purity." He said as he stood. "I married you, after all." He dodged the feather quill that she threw at him as he sat down beside her on the sofa. He wrapped his arms around her in a comforting side hug. "However, my child will not be sorted in Gryffindor."
She nudged her elbow into his rib cage.
"Ow!"
"Ginny doesn't know yet. I wanted her to write the article. I despise that beetle. How did she find out?"
"Okay," He said as he kissed her on the forehead. "What are we going to do about her?"
"We're going to kidnap her so she doesn't write another thing about us."
"Hermione, I rarely agree with Ron, but you're mental."
"No. I'm quite sane."
"Are you certain that the Sorting Hat didn't consider putting you in Slytherin?"
"I've long thought it made a mistake putting you in Slytherin."
Draco rolled his eyes. "It considered Ravenclaw, but for a moment. Ultimately, it placed me where I was needed."
Still fixated, Hermione stated, "I'm going to place Rita Skeeter in a glass jar. Should I torture her?"
Draco sighed, "If you want to raise our daughter, I suggest you not."
Neither noticed the insect in Hermione's copy of the Daily Prophet crawling out then fly out of the open window.
The next morning, the headline read: The Malfoy Half-Blood Heiress
