Puppy Again
Chapter I
As dust arose from where Sesshoumaru and InuYasha fought, the sound of insults could be heard.
"And they fight all the time, because?" question Sango, massaging her head.
"Hmmph. Brotherly ties." Miroku answered, shaking his head.
Just as the two brothers were in midst battle, they heard a loud, menacing laugh over head. They looked up, to see nothing there. But suddenly, a large cloud showed above them, and it let out a rain of smoke at Sesshoumaru.
As the cloud ingulfed him, the only thing heard was his coughing, and his sword hitting the ground. InuYasha jumped back, upon seeing the smoke dessapearing When the cloud of smoke had fully went, there stood a young, 4 year old Sesshoumaru. His clothes changed to a outfit that looked like what he had been originally wearing, but now the armor was gone, and instead of red was a light purple floral design. Sesshoumaru's once clear facial markings were now just barely visible marks.
"What the hell!" yelled InuYasha, as he stared at his now younger brother.
"What happened?" questioned Kagome, coming up behind the hanyou.
"How the hell am I to know! I was just fighting with him, and now…" InuYasha broguth his attention to Kagome, who looked shocked.
"Well… we can't just leave him here." Sango hinted.
"I hope your not expecting us to take him with us!"
"Sesshoumaru-sama!" came a squeaky voice from behind a few bushes. They rustled, and out popped Jakken.
"Oh geeze…" InuYasha said to himself, rolling his eyes.
"What happened to Sesshoumaru-sama?"
InuYasha kicked the little toad before Kagome ran up to him.
"Jakken, where's Rin-chan?" she inquired.
"That silly girl is in the forest with that dragon of hers!"
"Thank you Jakken. Now, InuYasha, smell out the girl."
"What if I don't want to?"
"Well, then I'll say 'The Word'…"
"No! Kagome! You wouldn't! Okay, okay… I'll lead!" InuYasha followed the girl's scent. Well… technically, he followed his brothers scent since it was all over the girl.
Sesshoumaru walked contently besides Shippou. Sesshoumaru was still taller then the small Kitsune. They chatted a little before they found the small girl, sitting nexto to a tree, talking to Ah-Un.
'Um… Rin? Er… I'm afraid to say that you can't travel with Sesshoumaru. At least for a little bit."
"Why can't Rin travel with Sesshoumaru-sama!"
"Er, I'm afraid that he's been turned back into a child." Kagome walked towards Rin, scooping her up into her arms. "You'll have to travel with us until we figure out what's wrong with Sesshoumaru-sama."
Rin looked over Kagome's shoulder, to see a chibi-like Sesshoumaru, standing and chatting with Shippou. Obviously, he didn't remember a thing about his adult life.
"Can Rin go play with Sesshoumaru-san?" Rin questioned.
"Um… sure." Kagome lowered Rin to the ground, and watched as she ran over to Sesshoumaru. Kagome guessed that Rin wasn't aware that the boy that she was playing with was actually Sesshoumaru of the Western Lands.
