Koyomi was getting ready to go to the bookstore to see if they had any new books she would be interested in. She was about to leave when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Where are you going, Koyo?" said Tamoka.
"I'm going to the bookstore." said Koyomi happily.
"Can Tamoka come with you? You always go to the bookstore on Wednesday mornings." said Tamoka.
"Sure, Tamoka. Just don't get lost in the books you might find and enjoy!" laughed Koyomi.
Koyomi and Tamoka walked the two blocks to Barnes and Noble. Tamoka headed to the kids section to find any books she might enjoy while Koyomi went to the teen section and took a look around around when a book got her eye. It was called "Vampire Kisses: The Beginning." Koyomi took it and read the first two chapters. Tamoka came back with a magical girl manga that was based on her favorie show.
"Koyo, can Tamoka get this manga book? It's my favorite TV show expect there's things in here they've never shown on TV!" said Tamoka, smiling.
"Sure Tamoka. I'm gonna get this book also. It looks very interesting to me." Said Koyomi.
Koyomi paid for the two books and Tamoka and her headed hom. They both reached Yukinari's house and went inside. Yurkinari and Miharu were in school and wouldn't return until 4pm. Koyomi sat down on the couch and read the back of her book one last time. It said it contain the first 3 Vampire Kisses novels in one volume. Koyomi looked at the clock near the TV. It was 11am. She thought she might as well read it for a while. Koyomi started to read it and soon got lost within in it.
At school…
Yukinari, Miharu, and Kirie were walking in the hallwaay when the saw Lisa Fukuyama, Kazharu's younger sister who happened to be their friend.
"Oh guys, do you have the time?" Lisa asked.
"The lunch bell should ring in five minutes." Yukinari replied.
"Oh thanks. Kosame!" Lisa called out.
"Yes, mistress?" said Kosame who appeared out of nowhere.
"Is there something you wanted to ask Kirie?" Lisa asked.
"Ms. Kirie, may I join you for lunch? I brought some curry bread with me." Kosame asked.
"Of course, Kosame. I would love that since I miss you every second of every day that I can't see you!" said Kirie while blushing.
"Oh Ms. Kirie, you are so beautiful to me. That's why I love you." Said Kosame giving Kirie a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you too, Kosame. That's why I'm your girlfriend." Said Kirie.
Back at home…
Koyomi was still reading her book and it was now 3pm. The others would be home in an hour. Tamoka and Koyomi had pasta for lunch that day. Soon an our passed and the others returned home with Lisa and Kosame joining them.
"Koyomi! Tamoka! We're home!" Miharu cried out.
Koyomi closed the blook as she was just finishing up her last page.
"Hello everyone. Hi Lisa and Kosame." Said Koyomi.
"Hello Koyomi. Don't worry, I won't let my brother get you. Kirie and Kosame will hurt him if he tries to do anything to you." Said Lisa.
"Thanks. At least I know I'll be protected." Said Koyomi with a smile on her face. Soon Kirie noticed the book on the table.
"Koyomi, you like Vampire Kisses?" Kirie asked.
"I do now. I just bought it today and think it's great. It contains the first three novels." Said Koyomi.
"You know there are about three more novels after this one AND a manga series that has two books already out and a thrid one on it's way." Said Kirie.
"I knew about the novels but not the manga." Said Koyomi.
" Maybe tomorrow you and I can go get the fourth book and the first manga book. There's no school tomorrow or Friday!" said Kirie.
"Can I come along, Ms. Kirie?" said Kosame hanging onto Kirie's arm.
"Of course you can!" said Kirie giving Kosame a simple kiss.
