Dreamland
Naruto's bright blue eyes lifted swiftly and posed on the figure in front of him. His scowl turned into a
sweet smile as his hand extends to touch the pale one. Fingers brushed, sending fiery shivers up his
spine, provoking goose bumps to appear on his tanned skin. The charcoal eyes facing him narrowed
dangerously as in menace, making the blond take a step back.
The ground opened in between the two boys, creating a gigantic fissure that separated both
enormously. Now the two stood each on the edge of a cliff still facing each other. The blond dropped
his eyes to the floor and clenched his fists firmly. He hated how it was inevitable for them to be together
even on a dream. How even thought he should be the one controlling this world, it always ended up
controlling itself against his happiness.
Eyebrows furrowed heatedly just thinking about his impossible mission, his unattainable dream. It was
not fair. But Iruka-sensei, Kakashi-sensei, and the rest of the earth taught him nothing in life was fair.
People always say that if you work hard for it, you will get it. It is not true, he with the help of his friends
learned so. That not being the case; Sasuke would be here with him, with everybody. Back home,
training with the team he belongs with and the family that loves him. Sasuke would be here bickering
with him, punching him for saying stupid things, just sitting next to him to keep him company.
There are times when the blond feels like dropping the towel and move on with life, to just get over it
and deal with the present. But he is not able to do so; the bond that keeps him tied to Sasuke is stronger
than him. Even if he wanted to, his heart will always have him running behind that boy that he used to
look up to, that he truly loved like family, like a friend, and as much more. So here is Naruto, in the
world he expected Sasuke to be in. The world that the blond knows no matter how much he gets
separated from the other, the brunette will be there.
His blue eyes lifted from the ground to pose on Sasuke once again, but a confident grin gracing his
handsome features. Unlike the real world, besides not really being together even in this dream, Naruto
knows Sasuke will be here, waiting for him in his dreamland. Not mattering how hard he works to get
him back and failing, he will be here.

Blue eyes opened hastily, dilated from the blood rushing through his veins. Moving to a sitting position,
Naruto looked outside the window sitting next to him, the light of the moon illuminating his features.
The stars twinkled merrily, making the night sky a breathtaking sight. While he kept looking at the
starred sky, he smiled beautifully upon seeing a fallen star.
Finito.
