Hi! Welcome to my first Fan- Fiction. I've been pretty much obsessed with
Saving Private Ryan since the first time I saw it, And I love it even more
each time I watch it. Weeellll...This is about the letter from Caparzo to
his parents. I know... when he's dying he says it's to my dad and he onlt
says his dad...but If you read the top of the letter while Wade is re-
writing it, it says dear mom and dad. And I like how this turned out with
both his parents. I haven't read the book, YET, so this is really only
based on the movie. :-)
The Chainletter Of The War
A letter to a mother
from her little boy of five
a letter to a father
from a son with similar sides
a letter of reassurement
that he will soon arrive home
a letter signed with love
a love that's made of stone
The little boy of five has been taken by the war,
"Copy it, and send it" He says, to the friends to his far side.
It's put into the hands of a medic, filled with many regrets,
but still fulfills his friends wishes, and copies all the text.
A mission to complete a mission causes the letters fate to a halt,
and leaves the medic to his death, with his regrets not yet worked out.
The letter is then put into the captains hands, just like all of his mens lives.
And just like all of his mens live, he has the best intentions to make it survive,
They finally find their mission, but it's still not complete,
they must fight another battle, a battle that's filled with defeat.
The battle was fought fiercely, and many men went down.
The captain is then hit, and it's his turn to feel his heart pound.
The letter has fallen and is ready to hear yet another last breath,
another last word, and witness another death.
The breath is then breathed, the words have been said.
The letter is then picked up by the only man left, and is all up to him to send this letter on it's way.
The letter has seen so much. And even though it lacks eyes,
it has felt the blood, it was felt the pain, and it has heard all the cries.
The letter to a mother
from her little boy of five
The letter to a father
from a son with similar sides
a letter of reassurement
that there will be no more letters
a letter that's signed in blood
Blood, that is thickest that it comes in
Okay so this Is a VERY rough copy. Right now I thought the rhyming sounds a little dr. seus-ish, but I really couldn't figure out anything, and it was frustrating so I thought I would post it. Also some parts just don't mix with the rest, but please leave me a comment on how it is so far! Even if ya have suggestions! :-) Thanks for reading.
