This is a poem I made a long time ago. It's my best poem so far and I think it can be considered a fanfiction, since, obviously, the Red knight is InuYasha. Also, you can consider the Girl whoever you like. When I wrote this, it was about me, and about how he makes me feel. But you can think of her as Kikyou, Kagome or another character that you like to pair with InuYasha. I'm sure he's act this way towards any girl that was kind enough to him. Obviously, my favourite choice is Kikyou. Anyway, hope you'll enjoy it.

InuYasha is owned by Rumiko Takahashi only.

The Girl was lying
Lying in Silence
In the crushing Silence
In the stabbing Silence
The Silence she couldn't face

The Silence spoke
Spoke to the Girl who was lying
Lying in the ground
The ground she couldn't feel
The ground that didn't support
Her insecure steps

The Girl was lost
The Girl was crying
Trying to forget
Afraid to move forward

The Silence told her
The Silence remembered her
Of her last hope
Her fading destiny
Her Red Knight

The Girl denied
The Girl refused
Too guilty
Too unworthy
Too many lies
Too many wounds

The Silence silenced
But he kept watching
The Girl kept crying
The Girl despaired
She closed her eyes
She hated herself
For being weak
For wanting to love

She tried to get up
Her evil soul knocked her down
She secretly called
For the owner of her Heart
The men of her slipped away dreams
The men she wanted to love

Her Heart heard the call
The Heart decided to wait
The calling got weaker
And the girl lost her faith
The faith in herself
The faith she already lost before

But the Red Knight heard
But the Red Knight saw
The Red Knight talked
He talked to the Heart
The Heart of a Girl
A Girl that was lying in the Silence

He asked the Heart
Why was he bleeding
And not calling for him
The Heart answered
The Girl wasn't strong enough
The Girl wasn't willed enough
The Red Knight held the Heart
The Hearth led the Red Knight
The Red Knight entered
Entered the watching Silence

The Girl was lying
Lying in the Silence
The Girl had no Heart
The Girl had no strength
She felt a hand
She felt a warm embrace
She asked her Heart
Why was he in her chest
The Heart answered
"Ask the Red Knight"
The Red Knight looked at the Girl
With those wise eyes
With those strong eyes
With those golden eyes
He said
"Don't ask anyone else now
Just, ask yourself"

The Girl trembled
The tears stopped
She was surprised
The Silence spoke
The Girl didn't hear
The Silence smiled
The Girl smiled too
Because her Heart
Was beating inside of her
Because her soul
Was now calm

The Red Knight rose
And gave the Girl his hand
The Girl was on her knees
The Girl couldn't stand up
The Red Knight said
"Don't be afraid
I will protect you
And you'll protect me"
The Girl's Heart understood
The Girl didn't
But she took the Red Knight's hand
And rose with him
The ground changed
And became stronger for her
Roses were born
Red as the Red Knight
The Red Knight who saved the Girl
The Girl that was lying
Lying in a screaming Silence
