Sakura Pov.
I felt the rain roll slowly down my face, hiding the tears. Sasuke walked away, the sound of his feet splashing quietly in the rain hurt more then have a kunai knife stabbed into my back. I took my pale arms and wrapped around my small body. I let out whimper and a cold ache went through my chest. I could feel it, my heart breaking. It shattered into a million pieces and fell to the ground. I wanted him to come back and help pick them up. He kept walking.
"Sasuke!" I cried, as the rain slowly died. "Sasuke please, don't leave me," I whispered.
"Sakura," I heard him whisper.
"I love you Sasuke, so please stay here. I don't want to lose you. All of those girls, they say they love you. But they wouldn't stand here crying and wanting you to stay with them. I know this won't make you happy Sasuke, so please stay here, with me. I don't want to be alone," I screamed. I sounded Selfish. I let my arms drop and wiped the hair out of my face. "Please Sasuke, don't leave me alone." My voice trailed off.
"Sakura let me do this. I want to become stronger. Don't let something so petty get in the way of your future," he said, his head slightly turned to face me.
"Sasuke, my feelings aren't petty. They aren't fake they're real. If you do know and return in a few years, I know they'll still be here. So please Sasuke, don't leave me," I let a tear fall, the rain was gone by now, and the tears shown through. "You make me crazy, I can't stand be away from you. Please don't leave," I couldn't help but cry. He turned around and dropped his bag. His dark stared at me.
"You are still so annoying," he smiled.
"Don't leave me," he slowly walked up to me and wrapped his arm around me.
"I have to, if I want to kill Itachi," he whispered.
"I'll go with you," I said, letting him stroke my hair.
"It's to dangerous... you'll get hurt and I could never live that down," he said. he let his arm drop and turned around. When he reached his bag he picked it up and then started on down the road again.
I closed my eyes and screamed as loud as I could "SASUKE!!!!!" I didn't want him to leave. He appeared behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach. He kissed my hair and slowly let go.
"Sakura, thank you; for everything," I felt him press his finger to the back of my neck and slowly drifted in and out of unconsciousness.
"Sasuke, I love you," I whispered before finally falling to the ground.
a/n yeah! This is my first one shot! I wish this is what happened instead of what happened when Sasuke left. Wouldn't this seem so much more romantic!
