Photographic Evidence

Summary: Tony and Ziva follow up on their conversation in 9x24. Spoilers for 9x24; Future Tiva.

Disclaimer: I don't own NCIS. I am dusting off my writing skills after a longer then intended break.

"Knock, Knock." Mossad Director Eli David heard the sound and wondered who was interrupting his doctor mandated break.

"Enter." He said looking from his paper work to see Malachi holding a folder.

"Sorry to interrupt Director, but there is something you need to see. These are surveillance photos that a agent took tracking a weapons dealer in the United States." Malachi handed him the folder.

"Why do I need to see these photos?" He looked at the picturesque beach houses with the waves crashing on the sand. He saw the weapons dealer Mossad had been tracing for a few years on a cell phone drinking a margarita. Even weapon dealers needed a drink once in a while, he thought to himself. He saw a few more of the dealer, which would serve as incriminating evidence. He continued to look though the folder until he saw a similar face in the background of one of the photos. He paused and looked more carefully, noticing Ziva and her NCIS partner Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo.

Ziva was dressed in a white sundress and was carrying her sandals. Her brown hair was down and curly, flying in the wind. DiNozzo was wearing a white button down and khakis shorts. He was barefoot as well carrying his sandals. He thumbed through the rest of the photos with more interest noticing that his daughter and the Italian American were walking hand-in-hand with wide smiles on their faces.

"Where were these taken?"

"In the North Hamptons in New York a few days ago," Malachi responded. "The next few photos are why I came in here." David paused at the shot of Ziva and Anthony facing each other with a man reading out of a book and a tall, dark haired man and a tall woman with long curly hair dressed in summer clothes like Ziva and Anthony.

"Who are the witnesses?" David asked, resuming going through the photos.

"A mystery writer and his wife, he owns a beach house there. They don't pose a threat to Israel." David stopped at a photo of Anthony kissing Ziva with the witnesses in the background clapping excitedly. He suspected once he saw the officiant, but his suspicions were confirmed with the image of Ziva and Tony kissing. Ziva and Tony had eloped; his last surviving child had married her work partner. He saw a glimpse of gold on their hands when the witnesses and the newlyweds were holding glasses of what appeared to be champagne. The orange-labeled bottle was held by the officiant who was pouring a glass for himself as well. He understood why Malachi had come into his office. He put the folder down and took off his glasses.

"Who else has seen this?" He questioned, gesturing to the folder.

"The agent who took them, myself and now you. I have already lectured the agent for going off his task. I think he recognized her from a meeting when she was here."

"Thank you, Malachi. That will be all." Malachi nodded and exited, closing the door behind him. David smiled as he reexamined the photo of Ziva smiling, a smile that went up to her eyes. He hadn't seen her smile like that since her mother, Tali, and Ari had been alive.

Author's Note:

Tony and Ziva elope on a beach in the North Hamptons with Rick Castle and Kate Beckett as witnesses. No weird uncles, fittings, or garter tosses involved. Because I think we all deserve some happiness after watching 9x24!
