Chapter 1
One day Lucas is lying on Lorelai's couch with his baby daughter holding her in the air talking to her.
''you're such a pretty girl yes you are.'' he tells her
the baby gives him a big smile.
Lucas laughs that's my girl.'' he tells her
Lorelai walks into the house and gasps ''hey Lucas hey baby girl!'' Lorelai says
''Hi Lorelai.''Lucas says
the baby just smiles and looks at her sitting on Lucas's stomach sucking on her whole fist that's in her mouth.
''do you guy's need anything?'' Lorelai asks them
''no I think we're good thanks I was just about to make her a bottle and feed her and put her down for her nap.'' Lucas tells her
''okay.'' Lorelai says and goes into the kitchen
Lucas gets up and puts the baby on his hip and goes into the kitchen to start making her bottle.
''so how are you?'' she asks him
''I'm good.'' he tell sher
''so is she um teething yet?'' she questions him
''oh um no I don't think so.'' he tells her
''oh so have you talked to Rory lately?'' she asks him
''oh um the other day for a little bit yea.'' he says and feeds his daughter
''that's good.'' she says and smiles
''yea.'' he says and walks back over to the couch in the livingroom and sits down continuing to feed his daughter
Lorelai walks into the room.
''so how is she?'' Lorelai asks him
''Rory?'' he questions her
''yea.'' she says and nods and smiles
''she's great. She's just been really busy with school and moving in and everything.'' he tells her
''oh well that's good.'' Lorelai says and stands there with her arms crossed over her chest watching Lucas feed his daughter
