This is a series of Alice/Jasper one-shots that I'll update when I'm bored of my other stories.
Oh, and for those of you who are reading 'Lovesick Melody,' the latest update is coming soon.
Title: Bet Night
"I bet you can't beat me at soccer." Alice said suddenly. I looked at her, confused.
"I think I could." I said.
"Hmm, nope. Don't think so." She replied, pretending to think about it.
"Then why don't we test that theory?" I asked. She smiled, and I realized I'd just been tricked into a game I was sure to lose.
After we set up a field, we chose our teams.
"I'll be England." I said.
"England sucks. I'll be Spain." She smiled.
"Don't diss England." I smirked. I grabbed the ball from the side of the house and threw it up in the air.
"Drop ball." Alice murmured, as if it were important. The ball hit the ground once and bounced. I took advantage of it and quickly headed it over to Alice's net. She had already started moving back and she caught in her hands before it could visit her net.
"Hand ball!" I called. I noticed now it was raining.
"I was in the goal area, so it doesn't count." She said. I rolled my eyes. She dropped the ball to the ground and started dribbling it the one hundred yards we had set up the field to be. I jumped in front of her at the last minute, but she jumped over me and the ball rolled under my feet. She sped up with the ball. I tried to grab her from behind but she was to fast. Once she got near the net she shot it right in, and it knocked down the net. I fixed it and placed the ball in front of the net. She flashed me a smile and winked at me before running back down to her net.
After I had fixed my net, I kicked the ball all the way into Alice's waiting hands. She was flung backwards into her net. She quickly got up and kicked the ball harder than I'd seen anyone kick a ball. Their was a loud ripping sound and I watched as the torn ball fell to the ground. We both ran up to it.
"Whoops. That was Emmett's favourite ball."
"Oh well." I shrugged. She narrowed her eyes at me.
"Bet you can't beat me in a fight." She smiled.
"Bet you I can." I smiled back at her, and so the night of the bets began.
Thanks for reading, don't forget to review! You know you want to!
