Disclaimer: I do not own DGurei. Rubik's cube, no too.
Warning: It's unbeta-ed!
He held it with his thumb and index finger delicately, scrutinizing it as if it was tiny microchip. Feeling it and almost tried licking it-
Allen cleared his throat. "Lavi, were you trying to lick the Rubik's cube?"
The said red-head paused.
"What cube?"
"…Rubik's cube."
"Ah. So, how does it work?" Lavi asked, pretending to forget the fact that he tried to lick the brightly coloured box a few seconds ago.
"Well, it's a tricky puzzle."
"Puzzle? Oh, I love puzzles." And Lavi started fiddling with it, then twisting it dexterously.
"Yes. You're supposed to get all these squares of one colour to one side and-"
"You mean like this?" The red-head said, tossing the solved cube to the white-haired boy.
Allen stared at the Rubik's cube in his hands with incredulous eyes, mouth slightly agape.
"Are you even human for solving this in a minute?!"
"Actually, I solved it in less than 30 seconds with this eye of mine." Lavi beamed.
"I spent nearly the whole afternoon to solve this…" Allen muttered, glaring at the ground.
"Aw, cheer up," Lavi patted the white-haired boy's shoulder. "You could always try Yuu."
"I think I will." And he really did, marching over to the dark-haired man's table with Lavi behind him.
"Hey, ba-Kanda."
"The hell you want, Moyashi?"
Ignoring the stupid nickname of his, Allen said: "Bet you can't solve this Rubik's cube."
Allen threw the Rubik's cube at Kanda in which he caught easily.
"What cube?"
"Rubik's cube." Allen and Lavi said simultaneously. "Get the squares of one colour to one side and the puzzle will be solved."
"I don't have time for this."
"Oh? Is Kanda really stupid and scared of this little Rubik's cube?" Allen taunted, smiling in victory when he sensed Kanda's angry aura.
Kanda glared his infamous death glare, growling. "Once I get this done, I'll shove this up your ass."
He began twisting it after tossing his raven hair back.
Soon, finders, scientists, exorcists, almost everyone in the Black Order became obsessed over the Rubik's cube. Many failed to solve it within a short period of time, but some lucky ones did in fact.
Allen smirked, looking at the nearly fed-up samurai. "So, is the cube going to be up my arse soon? Or will I have to wait a little longer?"
I sensed some innuendo.
"Because the Rubik's cube is so last week." Allen added.
"Shut the fuck up, brat."
But it really was a week after Allen had gave the Rubik's cube to Kanda.
I've seen a number of people in my school addicted to the Rubik's cube. Even the students in the primary school too. And even my sister D:
I don't like doing the Rubik's cube. Simple reason, really. Because I suck at it XD;
Review please.
