Just a little side-project of my main fanfic: The Next Generation where the twins will have some inspirational or comical interactions with their family and friends.

Now with that out of the way here's one shot #1. Enjoy!

Amelia sighed as she looked at the window of her room which provided a good view of the town of Gravity Falls.

The Pines Chalet, as their home was called stood in a hill with the mind of a getting a view of the town in mind. The Pines Chalet resembled that of a luxurious European chalet complete with a terrace that a fireplace in the terrace, a couch and dining table and chair on it with an inside pool and a mini theater.

Unlike the Northwests of the past however the Pines had treated the commoners of Gravity Falls with respect and the same treatment as they would treat their own and most importantly the Pines had treated their daughters very well and allowed them to be who they are. In terms of living Dipper and Pacifica had taken a more simplified approach to their home unlike Preston, omitting the gardens, peacocks and fountains.

With some limits at certain things of course but nothing constraining as Pacifica in her early years with limits and exceptions in practically everything.

As Amelia starred at the town from her room she sighed. "I'm bored.."

Boredom. One of the worst enemies of humans whenever commoner or rich.

Earlier Amelia had been updated in her favorite shows, had read her books and listened to music but what she needs right now is interaction with someone close. Her father was busy with business, her mother and her sister had gone out to collect some food.

She was also certain she can't call her cousins out of respect that they may be busy with something else.

Despite being born wealthy and living in practically a hotel however she had her own limitations in terms of lifestyle. She herself had the home of an elite but the tastes and lifestyle of what a Northwest would say a 'commoner.'

Not that she bothered anyway. She hated exotic and complex things and always preferred a simple lifestyle and taste in food. Practically a capital offense for the Northwests, an openly accepted gesture in the Pines.

In truth Dipper and Pacifica had liked this mentality of Amelia. Her sister had a slightly fashioned approach to life but not too extreme and herself had a similar style as Amelia in terms of food preference.

Simple and enough.

While continuing to look outside the town from her window, a knock then was heard from her door. "Amelia?"

"Yes Dad?"

"Can I come in?"

"Suit yourself, Dad."

The door opened and with it came Dipper in his late 30s.

Dipper walked into the room to see Amelia starring down on the town from her window. Immediately Dipper noticed something wrong. "Hey pumpkin, you okay?"

Amelia had let out an audible sigh. "Just bored Dad."

Dipper scratched his chin for a second. "Hmm…." A second passed before he snapped his finger. "Well I may have something to solve your boredom!"

Amelia turned back to face her father with a surprised look. "What is it, Dad?"

"It's a board game called Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons."

Amelia raised an eyebrow. "Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons?"

Dipper smiled, as if nostalgia has invaded him. "Yes. I love this board game. You know that I played this in my earlier years and with Great-Grunkle Ford as well."

By then Amelia began to turn curious and began to ask questions. "What was the board game like Dad?"

"Oh it's where the player uses their smarts but also as well their luck and imagination."

By then Amelia began to feel a sense of temptation in her. "Really?"

"Yes pumpkin." Dipper let out a small grin. "Wanna play it right now?"

"Yes!"

Dipper laughed. "All right. I'll find the board game, you wait at the living room."

Amelia sat in the couch as she ate a chocolate lava cupcake with a plate of four more in the table in front of her.

'Dad's sure taking a while.'

While the brunette ate her cupcake a silver Maine Coon cat had jumped to her left and began meowing at her directly.

Amelia turned to the cat. "No Milo, you can't have my cupcake."

Milo continued to meow while trying to hold Amelia's cupcake with his paw before she passed it to her other hand out of reach from the feline.

"No Milo! I don't think cats can't even have chocolate."

The cat simply laid down to Amelia's left and began to purr which made Amelia sigh.

Seconds later Dipper had arrived with a box. "Sorry for the delay pumpkin. Had to find this box somewhere in the attic."

Amelia laughed as she had another bite of her cupcake. "No worries Dad. I understand, must be hard to find something that may not even be there at hall."

Dipper laughed lightly. "Well pumpkin you sure are sympathetic to me."

Amelia simply smiled.

Dipper then placed down the box containing the board game on the floor near the table while motioning Amelia to come close with Amelia in turn by coming to Dipper after first placing her cupcake back on the plate.

Amelia then sat on the floor while Dipper began to open the box. "So Dad, how is it played?"

After a nerdy explanation even the author can't comprehend and several dice rolls and checks/marks later.

"I had lots of fun Dad! But do you think we should get this all cleaned up? Mom won't be happy when she sees this."

After several hours of checks/marks and placing them around the living room for memory's sake the living room had turned into what would be a conspiracy theorist's room.

A room full of scattered paper with references placed everywhere in the room but the room was much better and had a more admirable smell into it.

Dipper however laughed. "We'll just clean this all back before your mom and sister returns."

"Will it be long enough?"

"Well yes-"

"Dad, Amelia we're back!"

Amelia and Dipper simply froze in their place as Amanda walked through the room happily for a few seconds before turning puzzled.

"Dad! I bought you your…" Amanda's eyes widened at the scene of the living room becoming a mess of paper with various marks, checks and sentences written around them. The paper also had been everywhere from the ground to the walls around the room. Some also even had their way to the windows.

Amanda then eyed the board game blatantly displayed with various pieces around it. "Uhh Dad.. what's with the pieces of paper laying around here?"

"Oh! Just teaching your sister how to play Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons." Dipper gestured out to the box containing the game.

"It's a game where you can use your imagination and luck!" Amelia added.

"Okay.." Amanda scratched her back a little. "Mom's not gonna like this one out."

"Amanda, please don't tell your mother/Mom about this." Dipper and Amelia simultaneously said in response to Amanda, praying to themselves that Pacifica won't see the mess they did.

Dipper fully knew of the potential consequences that will spur out of this mess while Amelia simply didn't want to piss her off.

All for a board game. And all of it were considered a part of it but then both had fun. Will it be worth it to incur a mother's/wife's wrath?

Before Amanda spoke Pacifica's voice came through to the living room. "Don't tell me what you two?"

Pacifica by now had made her way through the living room with a stern expression with the intention of finding out whatever shenanigans Dipper and Amelia had made while she and Amanda were away and to promptly scold and put them in their place.

After moments Pacifica had stumbled upon the mess of Dipper and Amelia's board game. The two brunettes continued to stay still and as well Amanda as Pacifica looked around the living room where everything had paper in them.

Looking back at Dipper and Amelia, Pacifica took a weirded and puzzled expression. "Dipper, Amelia, what did you two did here?"

"Just playing some Dungeons, Dungeons and More Dungeons with Amelia. She was bored so I thought of teaching and playing this board game with her. You know, some father-daughter bonding. Also it's actually a good opportunity for me to play this board game as it's been forever since I touched it."

"All of this disaster for bonding?"

"Hey! We went through worse before we married."

"Come on Mom. The game is fun! Let's play!"

Pacifica however took a lighter approach at her daughter. "No thanks sweetie, this game's kinda too much for me."

"Amanda?"

"I'll have to go with Mom for that, Amy."

Pacifica gave Dipper and Amelia 'the look'. "I want this living room cleaned, Dipper and Amelia."

"Yes dear/Mom."

I think I kinda did a bit bad here but I'll let you; the viewers decide for me. If you want more one shots leave a PM or a review and type what other scenario would you like to see involving the twins with their friends and family.

Also i consider this writing exercise/practice for my major story so any improvements you people suggest me here will be appreciated.

That's all and see you next time!
