"Itachi Uchiha and Ryuu Kaito. I have a new mission for you." Said a man sitting at the head of a table,

"What is it this time?" Said Ryuu.

"Hn." Said Itachi.

"Your mission is to track and capture the nine-tailed jinchuuriki."

"Wasn't that Hidan and Kakuzu's mission?" Said Ryuu.

"They both was killed."

"By who? What happened to them being immortal?"

" From what Zetsu have told me the nine-tails was able to take down Kakuzu. And a Nara clansmen was able to take out Hidan."

Ryuu laughed." I knew those weak bastards couldn't get the job done. They were to cocky calling themselves "immortal". Ryuu said laughing more.

The man slammed his fist down cracking the table. "Silence Ryuu!"

Itachi looked at Ryuu then to the man at the head and sighed to himself and began to speak. " Clam down Pain. Ryuu and I will go and confront the nine-tailed jinchuuriki."

Ryuu was about to said something but Itachi held up his hand and Ryuu stayed silent.

"Leave and bring me back the nine-tailed jinchuuriki!"

Itachi nooded and Ryuu looked at Pain with a smirk.

"Whatever you say leader." With that said he started laughing again and Pain held his hand out as a black rod shot out from his robe. But Ryuu and Itachi both disappeared in a cloud as smoke. The black rod lodged it self into the chair where Ryuu right shoulder would have been.

"Damn that Ryuu!" Pain looked to his right and out the window. With a look blank look looking at the rain.

"Pain." Said a woman walking into the room with a paper crane in her hand.

"Yes Konan?"

Konan held out her hand with the crane in it and smiled a little.

" We have a guest."

Pain took the crane and nodded. " Then let go and properly welcome him."

"Ryuu. You need to be careful. Your no use to me dead."

Ryuu laughed." Come on Itachi. You know me better then that."

"Unfortunately I do."

Ryuu looked around him and stopped causing Itachi to bump into to him.

"Why are you stopping Ryuu?"

Ryuu turned around and scratched the back of his head laughing alittle. "I think we went the wrong way."

Itachi's right eye started to twitch. "I'm going to kill you Ryuu."

Ryuu laughed nervously. "How about no."

Itachi sighed and turned around and started to walk the other way. " I'm leading for now on."

Ryuu walked to the side of Itachi laughing. " Lead the way leader."
