So, i've wanted to write something for a long long time. Recently, i've been kinda obsessed with Criminal Minds, and i figured i'd start writing drabbles for the series.
I'll be focusing on hurt/comfort, angst or fluff, but i'm up to almost anything. Just write a suggestion in your review, and i'd be splendid! I'll be updating this as frequently as i can.

Thank you for reading my series. I am thrilled that you took your time, and i'd love if you'd review!

Keep it cool!

1. Giving up

It's not giving up, Morgan tells himself, when he hear the words cleared for the fourth time, and he knows that it's another blind lead.

It's not giving up, he confirms himself, when they've gone three weeks without any new leads, and Strauss is pushing Hotch to let it go.

It's not giving up, he thinks, when he studies his co-workers' worn-out faces, exhausted from the lack of sleep. He knows none of them will admit that this is leading nowhere.

It's not giving up, he reminds himself, when they're heading home, a thousand miles away. The plane is silent on their way home; none of them is speaking, everybody lost in their own head. He can see Hotch, resting his head in his hand; face like a mask, showing no emotions.

It's not giving up, he whispers, when he gets home to an empty house; the lump in his throat is taking away his breath, and makes him struggle to breathe. Clooney jumps all over him, happy to see his master. Morgan picked him up from the airport before returning home, but this time, Clooney can't help him.

It's not giving up, Morgan hopes, when Hotch comes in with another case, ordering them to Phoenix, to find an unsub.

It's not giving up, Morgan says firmly, when JJ is having a breakdown on their hotel room and Morgan is comforting her.

It's not giving up, Morgan tells himself, because he can't bear the thought of giving up on Reid.
