Hey guys. I'll try to make this as easy to read as possible but I am on my iPod so... This a one-shot but its actually two unrelated snippets that aren't long enough to put as individual stories. Keep in mind though that I haven't finished CP2 yet. Well... That's it I suppose. Read On!

#1 Alternate CP2 Ending Where Will is Brother Zachariah

"Will?" Tessa said. It couldn't be. No... Will died. He had disappear after the last stand with Mortmain. Not this. Will would never have chosen this. Will was a fighter, living for the thrill of battle. He thought the Silent Brothers were glorified book keepers.

It's me, the words came to her mind. Tessa's eyes watered and she rushed at home. It was Will, her Will. She had thought so long that he was gone to her, lost. They call me Zachariah here. It didn't matter. She stilled loved him. After a second of hesitation he returned her embrace.

"I've missed you," she whispered into his chest. She sobbed, with joy and with regret. She had chosen Jem, and loved him every minute if the four years he had managed to give her. But always, always there was the whisper in her mind. Will, Will, Will...

And I you, he said after again hesitating a moment. She heard a sound like a sigh in her mind. Tess... This can't happen. It took her a moment to catch his meaning... But of course. He wad a Silent Brother now. For all intents and purposes, he was as lost to her as her Jem.

"No," she sobbed. "I need you."

You never needed me before, he told her gently, softly.

"I thought you were dead! We all did!"

And that was how I wanted it. I'm not blaming you Tessa. He paused to make sure none of the other Brothers were listening. I never stopped loving you either, Tessa. I've held onto you and to our James no matter how I should not have. But we still can't. We cannot act in what we've felt. I'm so sorry Tess.

Tessa released him. "I shall miss you, love. I wish you well. And I never inched stopped loving you either." She walked away from this new person, this Zachariah. This person who was so much her Will, so achingly familiar and yet so terribly different and unfamiliar. She prayed she would hear him again. She wanted so badly to hear him call her back, to say there was a way to undo what cannot be undone. She wanted him to say he was still hers to love and to hold. She wanted him to say it was okay. But he knew it wasn't as did she. So he said nothing and all she heard was silence.

#2 Tessa's Memory (she ended up with Will in this one)

Tessa thought about them often, her Will and her Jem. Her Jem who lived but was out if her reach. Her Will who had given her two beautiful children and had died so long ago. She remembered them both with perfect clarity. She had often said they had split her heart but it wasn't like that. It seemed more as she had grown a separate heart. One belonged totally to Will and one Jem. Each heart tried to beat louder to pound more heat and blood and air; each heart wanted to be more important than the other. Sometimes she wasn't even sure how to carry on when one of those hearts- Jem's- had given up, had been locked inside a wall. And the other, well the other had stopped beating, like the heart who it had beat for. She missed the others too. Gabriel and Cecily, Gideon and Sophie, Charlotte and Henry. They were all dead and she and Magnus were all that remained, all that would remain. She had watched after her own descendants and the Lightwoods and Carstairs. She protected them when she could.

"But still miss you," she said to the empty air.

And well, that's that. I guess I have to spoiler tag the description. Thanks for reading. Love you all. Feel free to message me or review. Well, I guess that's it. Being emotionally murdered by Clockwork Princess, StevieRae2011, signing off!
