Blaine couldn't remember the last time that he was happy, truly and properly happy that is. Sure he had fleeting moments, usually in front of the mirror when he was singing in to his hair brush but apart from that, everything was just a bit crap really. His parents didn't want him. They seemed to put up with him to keep up appearances but apart from that he spent all of his time on his own, the weekends were the worst part of it all. His parents would go away each weekend, locking Blaine in the house each time, with the excuse "you need to think out this stupidity. No Anderson can be gay". They never seemed to just deal with it, he had told them on his 12th birthday that there was a boy at school that he liked and since then it just seemed to get worse.

Blaine moved schools a lot, it seemed that once people started to realise that something was bothering Blaine his father would decide it was timed to move house and schools again.

This morning was the start of another school year, in another new school, he had had a new school each year since the age of 12 and this was his 4th. He had learned by not that there was no real point in trying to make friends, it was not as if he would be around long enough to get to know them properly anyway was it. But still he wanted to make a good impression, so he had chosen his outfit the night before, adding his smartest bow tie (they were his weakness, he just couldn't get enough), and having his books all in his bag ready so that he had time to get his hair perfect without having to rush if he overslept a bit.

There was no going back now, jumping in his car he was headed for mckinley high, who knows what awaits him…
