ok, so this is kinda new for me. i've never did a fan fiction about the americanization of emily, so i've never worked with these characters so maybe they're a little occ but i tried my best the keep them in their original character. it's really short so maybe ill ad to it or do a second chapter but we'll see

"Em honey, have you seen my tie?" Charlie asked from the bedroom closing the last pair of buttons on his shirt. "I meant the red one" He said when he saw Emily coming from the bathroom with his blue tie "No you didn't" She said standing before him wrapping the fabric around his neck. she started to tie it as she continued to speak "the bride and groom aren't supposed to see each other before the wedding you know?" she said chuckling "Well, it's not like were doing the whole walking down the isle thing" He replied. With the war still going Emily didn't want to spent all the time and money on planning a big wedding reception. 'Bus' had offered multiple times to arrange the 'whole shebang', as he would call it, but Charlie and Emily both agreed on a court wedding. They would have a small get together with their friends afterwards.
"the blue tie looks better on you" Emily smiled at him when she finished tying it. She turned around for one last check in the mirror before walking to the door but she was stopped by Charlie grabbing her wrist pulling her to him again "May I just say you look gorgeous?" Emily wore a ivory knee length dress with matching coat and shoes. "of course you may" she moved her arms around his neck while he moved his arms around her waist. "So this is it.." Emily let out a deep sigh "Yes it is, unless you want to back ou-" "Oh no," Emily cut him off "I did that once before commander and I'm not planning on doing it again!" she quickly added. Charlie laughed "I was only joking, but it's nice to know you're not having second thoughts about this" He gave her a loving smile as he softly stroke her face "I'm planning on sticking with you for the rest of my life, so take it or leave it commander" She smiled up at him "Oh I'll take it" Charlie replied before his lips softly touched hers. Before they knew it they were caught up in passionate kisses.
"Oh we haven't even signed the papers yet and you are already heading for the wedding night!" Emily chuckled as she stepped away catching her breath "Well lets go then, the sooner we get this done the sooner you will be mine and we'll have a whole week together at the lake district" He smiled as put his hand on the small of her back guiding her out the door "As your driver" Emily sarcastically added "As my wife" Charlie corrected her "as your wife who's assigned to drive you around the whole week" Emily replied "oh come on Em, I don't have that much busyness there so we will have time to do some things together" He said as he closed the door behind them "and besides, I don't need a chauffeur at night..." he added with a teasing grin "Charlie!" Emily exclaimed playfully slapping his arm "Well, as long as you sign those papers and say I do, I don't care what we do afterwards" He told her opening the car door for her "of course not" Emily replied rolling her eyes at him as the got in the car. Charlie got in himself before asking
"Ready?"
"Ready."
so this is it, it's really short, i think i'm gonna continue this with them actually getting married, that is if people will like it and will review it :P
