Hi, this is a story I thought of randomly when I was thinking about Molly and Ginny hating Fleur! Enjoy!
"Ugh, I hate Fleur!" Ginny said to Hermione.
They were both sitting on Hermione's bed in their shared room. Bill had just introduced his girlfriend, Fleur, a couple days ago, and immediately they both hated her, including Ginny's mum, Molly.
"Maybe we should give her a chance," suggested Hermione. "After all, if Bill likes her, she can't be that bad, right?"
"I don't know. She's a Veela, she's probably charmed him! There's no way in a million years that he could possibly like her, of all people!"
"I know! Bill deserves someone much better, like Tonks!" Molly Weasley stumbled into the room, her face all red. "That Fleur just talked to me about how Beauxbatons is way better than Hogwarts! That cow!"
"I know right," said Ginny angrily. Then she perked up. "We should set Tonks up with Bill, and he'll realize that she's way better than Fleur!"
Hermione nodded. "Let's go ask Tonks if she likes Bill."
"I hope she does. He's handsome, and caring, he's got a good job…" Molly trailed off. "I think she went to the library."
"Let's go then!" said Ginny, jumping up from the bed. "The library's on the other side of this blasted house! Ugh!"
"It's just a short walk, Gin," said Hermione. All three of them walked past the living room, where Sirius was on the ground, drunk. Mundungus was in the kitchen with Fred and George, discussing some of his business deals.
"I wish Tonks could be a Weasley already," said Ginny.
"I agree. She's a lovely girl," Molly said.
They got to the library. The door was open. Hermione peeked in and saw Professor Lupin sitting on an armchair, reading a book. Tonks was sitting on the arm of it, peering down onto the pages. Ginny and Molly looked in too and saw them. Hermione put up her hand to stop them from barging in.
Before they knew it, Tonks leaned in and kissed Lupin on the lips. The book fell onto the ground, long forgotten as his arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer to him.
Hermione shut the door quietly, giving them their privacy.
"Well, it looks like Tonks is gonna be a Lupin," she said happily. Now that she thought of it, she couldn't imagine Tonks with Bill. Lupin was perfect for her.
"I'm happy for them. I guess I tried to delude myself into thinking that we could get rid of Fleur by using Tonks," said Ginny.
"I knew they fancied each other! It was so painfully obvious, even drunk Sirius could see it in their eyes!" Molly exclaimed. "We'll just find someone else to take Bill's heart. How old is Hestia Jones?"
"How about Bill finds the one he loves?" Hermione looked at them meaningfully.
Ginny whole-heartedly agreed. "You're right. Now, let's discuss the future Nymphadora Lupin!"
