You laugh when you can and cry when you have to.

At least, that always worked for me. 

But I can't do it any more.

You promised you'd come save me when I need you.

But you're not here.

My jaw clenches, and my face gets hot.

The tears start to fall.

But there's no one here to wipe them away. 

Maybe one day we'll be together.

But that doesn't help me now.

The starts shine brightly tonight.

They laugh at my weakness.

But I don't care.

It's not my fault I'm weak.

It's yours.

You made a promise, and you broke it.

That's your sin, not mine.

I will be stronger because of it. 

I will live up to my name - Lockheart.

My heart stays locked with a key.

I will give anyone the key.

As long as I can lock it when I want to.

I will give anyone the key as long as they love me in return.

Flawless logic.

I can't get hurt if I don't care about people who don't love me.

Then why did I give it to you?
