If you walked down the street, and glanced around
you would see the frolicking bunnies, all their sights and sounds
but the bunny you would see and hear the most
Is lolly, the Bragging bunny, who's always one to boast
She goes round the town with stories to sing
and as she is telling you she dances beautfuly with string
So she goes off to prance and sing in a voice
that makes people say
"Oh, it"s that bunny
that silly bunny
that always wants to play!"
So when somethig is asked to be done
She said yes, but rather does something fun
It is something you know she will enjoy
but instead she choses to act very coy
So after a week or a month or a year
She stops to listen, rather than sneer
At your idea, she choses to heed
and she likes it, very much indeed!
that makes people say
"oh, it's that bunny
that silly bunny,
that only wants to disobey!"
When it comes to homework and chores
She fold her shirts, and puts them away in her drawers
She does ALL her math, science and art
all in one beat of her extremely large heart
And so, when you arrive at her very clean door
You will be surprised at her furthermore
For in that large house she spins her own tale of lore
of her homework done and her readyness for more
that makes people say
"Oh it's that bunny
that silly bunny
That does her work all day!"
But when it is time for her to have fun
to write a story, rather then get something done
she sings in a voice, quieter than a mouse
and you can hear it quite clearly in any large house
Sweeter than honey, and her dancing, to boot
Looks better than most, to many that hoot
So while she is dancing her very cute jig
She says "look at me, not that smelly dried fig"
that makes people say
"oh, it's that bunny
that silly bunny,
that can dance and brag all day!"
