A\n: Never written Edward Scissorhands, but I saw it a few weeks ago and fell in love with it. I know it's super short but if anyone thinks I'm any good I'll come up with other, longer drabbles or stories.

God Bless,

Sarah

That's all he ever wanted...Was a family. He knew he was failing miserably...

He had broken Kim's bed,

Couldn't eat dinner without flipping food off onto the table,

And couldn't even hug any of them really or touch them...But he managed as best he could. He tried showing them what a good person he was; how appreciative he was by cutting their hair, and the bushes, and the neighbor's dogs..But he didn't feel like it was enough..But now, holding Kim, he felt useful..Someone needed him and he was fulfilling that need...How could this not be one of the most important moments in his life? Yet there was something missing...

All he wanted to do was run his fingers over her face; caress her cheek to show her how much he loved her...

But he couldn't...All he could do was hold her.

That's all he could ever do...Was hold...

But he realized then, even though he couldn't hold her with his hands,

He was holding her with his heart...

That's how Edward held everyone: With his heart.
