Story Name: Is It Too Late?

Summary: Sasuke had come back from killing Itachi and Orchimaru and he is ready for love, but is he too late? Is Sakura still waiting for him or has she moved on?

Chapter One – Forgetting You

Sakura had just waked up from the bright sunlight that was shining through her bedroom window. She tried to move, but her waist was occupied with something else. She turned around and saw her boyfriend, or rather her soon-to-be-husband, Gaara.
RING RING RING!!
She quickly put up her cell phone that was on her drawer before it could wake Gaara up.
"Hello."
"Hi, Sakura-Chan!" said a voice too familiar.
"Hi, Naruto. I thought you, of all people, would still be sleeping right now."
"I was, but I got great news. Meet me at Iriaku at 10?"
"Sure, bye Naruto."
She hanged up and looked at her clock. It said "9:00AM".
'What? 9:00AM? OH NO! I'm going to be late!"
She tried to move, but the grip on her waist tightens trying to not let her go.
"Gaara-kun, I need to get dressed. I have to meet Naruto in about 1 hour."
"But it is too early."
Sakura giggled and kissed him on the nose before standing up. She got her clothes and went in her bathroom to take a quick shower.
When she was all done, she looked at Gaara who fell back to sleep. Sakura rolled her eyes and gave him a quick kiss before leaving. She left a sticky note on the fridge and left to see her friend.
AT IRIAKU
"Sakura-Chan!!" Naruto yelled from not too far away.
"Naruto!!"
Naruto ran up to Sakura and gave her a big, tightening hug.
"So how are you, Naruto?" Sakura said, looking at her ex-teammate.
"So far, everything has been good. I have a soon-to-be-wife!"
"THAT'S GREAT! Is it Hinata?"
"Are you smart or something? Yes, it is Hinata. And the news is that… Sasuke's back!!"
Sakura almost fell out of the chair that she is sitting. She stared wide eye at Naruto, who was looking dumbfounded.
"What happened, Sakura-Chan? It looked like you have seen a ghost."
"He's back?"
"Yeah! I thought that you would be happy," Naruto froze in the middle of his sentence before continuing, "Or do you already have a boyfriend?"
"Actually he is my soon-to-be-husband." Sakura whispered, but Naruto heard it all.
"HUSBAND?! Wow, you really have moved on."
"Yeah, I need to go."
Sakura got down from the chair and walked out. She stopped walking and stared straight.
"Sasuke…"
