Louise. A study in character, but not a character study.

Louise was sixteen when Bring It On came out and her little sister started calling her dykedelic. Lorraine thought it was with good intent, as she'd often walked in on Louise and Madeline.

Louise was not, and is not, a lesbian. She swears.

But, every once in a while…

She chalks is up to women knowing what women want. She also knows she's lying when she does.

Louise kissed Paris. Once. They were thirteen and Paris was, as usual, talking about school and college and accomplishments. Louise was tired of it, so she'd pushed Paris against a locker in the empty hall. She'd pinned her against it and pressed her mouth to Paris'.

Brad Langford had run down the hall, thinking that Louise was hurting Paris. Brad Langford was kind of stupid, but not stupid enough to tell.

Paris started hating Brad Langford after that. In secret, so did Louise.

But, she never kissed Paris again.

She kissed Madeline. A lot. Often.

Never in public. Madeline didn't want anyone to know that she liked girls.

Louise didn't care, because she is and was adamant about not being a lesbian.

Then high school ended and college came, and Madeline let her kiss her in public. Louise knew it was only to get Madeline's way, but she was thankful anyway. Sometimes, she briefly misses those few months. The feel of Madeline's lips on hers. The sound of Madeline's moan. The sight of Madeline bucking against her fingers.

She misses Madeline, she guesses. They were never really a couple, and she knows that Madeline only thought of her as a good friend and a good fuck, but she misses the raven-haired woman. The now married and pregnant raven-haired woman.

She still remembers the first time she kissed Madeline. They were fourteen and Madeline was spending the night. They were lying in Louise's bed, talking, when Madeline had announced she was tired. Louise smiled, kissed her full on the mouth, and rolled over bidding sweet dreams.

Madeline didn't know that Louise had kissed Paris. The only people who've ever known are Louise, Paris and Brad Langford.

Louise once contemplated kissing Rory Gilmore, but decided against it. If she had met the brunette anywhere but at Chilton, she probably would have.

Paris kissed Rory Gilmore and Rory Gilmore freaked out, so Louise probably handled her brief attraction to the labeled Mary as well as she could have. One brief masturbation session with a mental image and she was done. Probably for the best.

But, none of that matters, because Louise isn't a lesbian.

She, in all truth, does happen to like cock. A girl doesn't lose her virginity at fourteen in the boys wash room to Tristan DuGrey by disliking cock.

But women know what women want better than men.
