Greetings my fellow nerds! (You're on this sight because you want to be…you know you are a nerd!) This is just a one shot from…..'s pov. Yep I'm not telling you whose pov this is you have to guess! It's someone's aptitude test, this person is in the books. I am so sorry for how bad it is its late now and I am writing this. Please review, it will be a b-day present for me (check my profile to understand that)! Enjoy!
I stared at the floor. I was horrified to find out my results. I had just taken the aptitude test and was scared. I was never scared, yet right then, I was. What if I came back as a stiff or the test was inconclusive? That would be horrid, especially because no one likes the divergents.
Then the door opened and the Abnegation lady that gave me the test walked in. She was in all gray and had her blonde hair pulled up into a bun.
"Hi. We just checked your results and…well…sometimes people don't come up with a fraction, and we call those people divergent. You see, it is extremely dangerous to be divergent. Listen carefully, you must not tell anyone about your results." Said the exam lady. She said it with a slow urgency.
"I know. My mother told me about divergents, so where should I go, what did you put my results as?" I asked.
"I think you should do whatever you want, just don't stay in your faction. Also I put you in as Candor. I don't care what you choose; it's just that most people don't suspect divergents with Candor results. I think you should go home. Think everything over and, good luck tomorrow."
Then, the abnegation lady opened the door and gestured for me to leave.
When I got home, I went straight to my room. I didn't suspect anyone to be home, but I was wrong.
I heard some voices in our kitchen so I climbed the side of our plain house and went in through the window. I didn't want anyone to see me today; I didn't want anyone to see me ever.
I heard a knock on the door; my father wanted to come in and talk.
"Talk through the door! I'm not opening it!" I yelled at him from my bed.
"Fine. What happened in there? Listen I know that something bad happened when Julie –she was our neighbor in my year- came and told me that you didn't came out after the exam. Okay, how about you stop pretending not to hear me and I stop pretending to not know that you are divergent." My father said in an unnaturally calm voice.
"Okay." I replied. I felt as though that wasn't enough so I finished our conversation with, "Can I have a few minutes to be alone? I will be down for dinner in ten minutes."
Then, my father left from the door and I heard him walk downstairs and talk to my mom. I started thinking about where I should transfer to tomorrow. I started thinking about the place to transfer that would be best and safest for me.
Sooooo….what did you think? Well if you can guess who it was that I was talking about I will put your name on my profile and tell everyone to go check out your page…if you are a guest then still review and make my day!
