She looked down at the pink bundle in her arms, and then up to the man she loved, standing protectively over them and suddenly she knew. She'd found the reason she believed she never would. She had found the reason she needed to give him what he'd always wanted. Once more she looked at her new-born daughter, and then to Booth.

"I found it, Booth." she tells him softly. He smiles, and looks at her questioningly. "I mean, I found a reason to enter into marriage."

His smile widens, like the time she told him she loved him for the first time, or the time she told him she was pregnant and he was the father, or the time she had shown him the ultrasound video. He's momentarily speechless. He's still processing the new information, it couldn't be happening, could it?

Her voice brings him out of his reverie. "Booth, you're the reason. You, Parker and the Baby, you're the reason. Our family is the reason." She looks down at the tiny baby girl in her arms, and back to her partner. "Booth, will you marry me?"

He doesn't answer, but kisses her instead. Her smile mimics his own. "I told you you'd be asking me to marry you, didn't I?" he teases affectionately. She chuckles and nods. "I love you, Temperance. And I love Parker and the Baby." He kisses her once more, only to find Angela 'awww'ing at the little scene. Parker, hot on her heels makes a bee-line for his dad, his soon-to-be step mom, and his little sister.

"This is a very good reason, Bren." Angela says, giving her best friend a knowing smile.
