Perfect Stranger

By: Riley

Summary - You'll notice me staring, I'll look away. A smirk will appear on your face, and you'll lean on the counter. Your eyes will burn into my skull. CainexDiana drabble

I'll sit at the same small table-for-two each morning, and I'll pay little attention to my surroundings, holding onto my cup of coffee. As I turn my head to the window, I'll see you walk towards the coffee shop. No, you won't be walking-you'll be sauntering. You'll look gorgeous, and you'll know it better than anyone else. I'll think you're vain and arrogant, but my eyes will follow you until you walk up to order your morning coffee, a look of amusement on my face.

Maybe you'll notice me staring, and I'll quickly look away, ashamed and embarrassed. A smirk will immediately appear on your face, and you'll lean on the counter. Your eyes will burn into my skull, and I'll think over and over: "STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!"

You'll walk away with your coffee and continue smiling at yourself. I'll only glare at the back of your head, partly because I'm angry with you for mocking me.

From that morning on, I'll always see you. I'll avoid your gaze, and I won't say a word to you. You'll smirk and wave, and I'll force a smirk from myself. My stomach will tie itself into knots, and I'll have to remind myself that breathing includes exhaling.

One day, you and your big ego will sit across from me, and I won't notice. You'll get my attention, and I'll only stare in wide-eyed shock. You'll smile confidently at me and boldly say, "Hi, my name is Caine. What's yours?"

You'll be the perfect stranger, and you'll be perfect for me.

So here's another CainexDiana drabble. I don't know hold they are here. I hope you guys liked it!

Cheers,
