I based this OC on a character from Doctor Who season 26 who I came across. (.com/wiki/Light) I changed the character obviously because the original is an enemy and a male, but I liked the idea the character is based upon.
Hope you like it, it's totally random I know.
The Doctor wandered around the mall, smiling at the vendor's of an ice-cream parlour and passing them his change over the counter.
Strolling off, he licked his banana flavoured ice-cream ravenously, being careful that none dripped down his suit.
Then slowly he looked up and saw her.
They had met before, years ago, way before the Time War.
He flinched as she drew closer, weaving in and out of the Saturday afternoon shoppers, heading for the escalators.
Suddenly she turned her head and caught his eye. She suddenly stopped. She recognised him.
A busy shopper hurtled into her.
"Move out of the way honey!"
She shook herself from her trance and ran down the escalator pushing past people as she did so.
The Doctor's hearts pounded fast and he followed.
"Excuse me. Sorry. Coming through. Excuse me," she cried running down the escalator.
As the Doctor reached the bottom, he looked around to see her flying through the crowd ahead of him.
The Doctor began to run.
He was faster than she was, which was surprising given who she was.
He finally caught up with her and grabbed her arm, pulling her around to face him.
She squealed.
"Light?" he said breathlessly.
She nodded.
"W-What are you doing here?" The Doctor asked, looking into her eyes.
She looked away, unable to hold his gaze.
"Just visiting," she murmured.
"But you look human.......Light, you've evolved!"
She frowned bitterly. "I know," she muttered. "But it's easier this way.......I live here now. On Earth."
"Can you still-?"
"Yes," she replied, looking down at her feet.
"Why were you trying to avoid me, Light?" he asked shaking her.
She gazed up into his eyes.
"Because I'm scared of you," she hissed.
The Doctor's eyes widened and he let go of her and ran a hand through his hair.
"I'm sorry," he said, "what happened before, I was frightened of what you were capable of-" The Doctor trailed off.
Light looked up at him and spoke, her voice lemony.
"So you left me, in the middle of nowhere on some god-forsaken planet-"
"I meant to come back for you," he pleaded.
"But you didn't! You left me there, I ended up hitching a lift to the nearest intergalactic sub-station."
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry-"
"You're sorry?" she whispered, "The Doctor I knew never said sorry, he just shouted until people listened, whether they wanted to or not. You're just like the rest of them. The Time-Lords lording it over all of us, always such a pompous race."
The Doctor gulped and said nothing.
Light snorted. "Once upon a time you would have come to their defence straight away. What's happened Doctor? You realise what you truly are? What the Time-Lords truly are-?"
"They're gone," he said suddenly.
Light gasped. "W-What?"
"They're gone. There was a battle, a Time War. They fought but they all died, all of them. If you were stuck here......... you must not have heard."
"Gone?"
The Doctor nodded.
"But you survived?"
"I'm the last........I was the one that had to-" he trailed off.
Slowly and gently, she rested her hand on his arm.
He looked up in surprise at her gesture of comfort.
"I'm sorry," she said looking into his eyes. "I really am."
The Doctor gazed at her. Her eyes bright, a cascade of bright white shining behind them.
"Light?"
She nodded.
"Come with me........please."
That was so random I know. But I hope someone out there likes it....you never know...maybe I could continue it...... Make it a Ten/OC story....dunno though
