Hey guys :D
Well, here's a special Christmas oneshot. Enjoy!
Percy was stood in Central Park, shivering alongside his friends, Frank and Hazel.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" asked Hazel, noticing his worried expression.
"I have to," he replied. "I can't not go see her, not now I know where she is."
Hazel nodded her understanding. They were here to find Percy's mom. He'd recently regained some of his memory - at least, enough to know where he lived. Oh, and it was Christmas.
"So where now?" asked Frank, impatient to get out of the freezing cold park.
"181st Street," Percy replied. "I think..."
"Well that makes me so confident," muttered Frank under his breath. Hazel whacked him upside the head.
"Let's go, Percy," she said, happy that her friend was coming home.
They were stood outside an apartment. Percy looked nervously at the door.
"Well?" asked Frank.
"It's just... What if she's mad at me? What if she's horrible? I remember nothing about her save this address and her name - Sally Jackson." Percy replied, getting more and more frantic with each word.
"Look Percy, we're here for you. No matter what," said Hazel.
"Thanks guys. I guess I'm being a bit of a wimp," he responded, stepping forwards. He pushed the doorbell, and listen to the chimes echo through the house. Somehow the noise reminded Percy of the ocean, and his father. It relaxed him.
After about a minute, they heard someone approaching the door. Percy tensed, but Frank laid a hand on his shoulder, calming him.
The door opened and a man in his thirties with sandy blonde hair and an easy smile looked down at them.
"Hi, can I - Percy!" he exclaimed, hugging Percy. "Sally! You need to see this!"
He released Percy, and looked at him happily. Hazel stepped forward, extending her hand.
"Pleased to meet you, I'm Hazel Levesque. You must be Percy's stepfather." Percy noticed the not-so-subtle attempt to reveal more information.
"Yes, Paul Blofis. Nice to meet you," he said distractedly. He was about to add something when a pretty woman with long, dark hair and chocolatey brown eyes appeared next to him.
"Percy! Where have you been? We were so worried!" She enveloped him in a bone-crushing hug.
"Um, Mrs Blofis, could we come in? There's a bit we need to explain," said Hazel.
"Of course," Sally replied, leading them into an aqua blue lounge with a large comfy sofa. The three demigods sat down.
"So what happened? We got a call from Camp months ago telling us you were missing!" said Sally.
"Uh, well... Hera kinda stole my memories and sent me to a Roman demigod camp so me and a guy called Jason could reunite the Greeks and Romans," Percy said in one breath.
Sally frowned. "She stole your memories? But then..."
"Yeah, all I can remember is my name, Riptide, Annabeth, our address, and your name," her son replied, biting his lip.
"Will your memories ever come back?" asked Paul, worridly.
"Eventually. When I first woke up, all I had was my name and Annabeth's name. They're returning slowly."
Sally smiled. "So, that set aside, who are your friends?"
"Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto," said Hazel, smiling.
"And Frank Zhang, son of Mars," added Frank.
"You know what? I think we should all have a Christmas dinner together," said Sally.
The demigods looked at each other. None could remember having a proper Christmas - Frank's family refused to have anything to do with Christianity, Hazel's mom hadn't exactly been the celebrating type, and Percy remembered nothing.
"Sounds great... Mom."
The End
