Just a little oneshot. Enjoy.
Disclaimer: I do not own Thor/The Avengers or any type of Norse Mythology.
She had tried so hard to fight it, she really had, but in the end it had been too much. She hated herself for it but that hadn't stopped it from happening. Looking back she realized it had really been her fault. She had let herself get caught in his web, somehow falling for the arrogant prince. She wasn't sure how it had happened or why but it had and it tore her apart to love him after all he had done.
She had allowed herself to enjoy his fleeting touches and his breath on her neck as he whispered things into her ears. She knew now that he had used her but she couldn't bring herself to regret their time together. She had been stupid to let herself love him but she couldn't change the past.
The main problem was that she still loved him. More than she ever thought was possible. The God of Mischief, destined to break her heart.
All the girls fawned over his brother; the strong, handsome Prince, heir to the throne but she had always been one for a darker sort of love. No one knew how seductive he could be when he tried. No one had any idea how easily he could wrap you around his finger and use you to do his bidding. He was evil but when she thought about it, so was she at heart.
They had worked well together, tricking and lying. Taking everything they wanted, everything their hearts desired. But that hadn't been enough for either of them. Her heart desired him and his heart desired power.
He used her, knowing that he could have control over her, a small bit of power to satisfy him before he tried to take the throne.
It hurt her to know that she had meant so little to him but it also fueled her desire for revenge.
And she was going to get revenge.
She made her way down to the cells slowly and quietly, not wanting to get caught. When she reached his, she studied him for a moment.
He was just as beautiful as she remembered. Not beautiful like what the people from Midgard called Angels but beautiful in a dark, twisted sense of the word. Beautiful like she was. She grinned.
"Hello Loki."
Love it? Hate it? PLEASE REVIEW! It would mean a lot to me. It's a little darker than what I usually write but I like this style.
