Somewhere, a Pokemon fanfic
Author's Note: Okay, I felt like writing this for a whole time. It's a story from the view of Thorne, a Banette. It's written from his P.O.V. The lyrics are italics.

Lost in the darkness
Hoping for a sign
Instead there's only silence

I walked down a steep road, and I was getting tired. I saw a comfy looking tree, walked towards it and climbed in it. Much better, I was tired. I had been looking for my friend Catey for a whole day without resting. Catey… A tear slid down my cheek.
I'll find you somewhere
I'll keep on trying

She was everything I had. And now she was gone… I'm all alone now. I never liked being alone, even as a little Shuppet. Catey was always there, she made sure I was never alone, because of my monophobia. But then that Akuji came along. I absolutely hate him. He took Catey away from me.

Where you are
More tears streamed down my face. If it weren't for Akuji, Catey would still be here. I slammed my fist into the tree-trunk in anger, imagining it was his face. I punched it again and again and again. He'll pay for what he did! What he did to Catey wasn't his only crime. He also abandoned his Gardevoir, his faithful Pokemon partner who protected him from Ninetails's curse. How can he abandon his friend!?
