Hazel stumbled as she ran, trying her best to keep her distance from her classmates chasing her.

But it wasn't long till she hit a dead end with nowhere else to go. Her breath was heavy as the bullies closed in onto her.

One laughed, "Looks like Hazel can't run anymore."

"Go away!" Hazel screamed out, tears threatening to fall. She fell onto the cold hard ground and curled up, her legs no longer able to hold her as she felt bruises begin to appear.

"Why don't you just use your magic to disappear, huh?"

"Nobody likes witches, Hazel!"

The cruel words hitting Hazel like knives, Hazel trying her best to get back up to run away- or even fight, only for them to stab her back down again. Tears fell onto the ground, her hands shaking, when will they just leave her alone?

Hazel screamed again, maybe someone will come to save her. Where are the heroes that everyone talked so highly about? Why aren't they coming to save her? Save her from the bullies. Anyone.

"You should just die like all the other witches!"

Her fists curled up, she couldn't take it, she didn't want to live every day like this. Hazel gathered all of the strength that she had and pulled herself up. If they wanted to think she was a witch, then fine, she was a witch.

She muttered a word that tasted like acid in her mouth. Her hands were glowing, if no one wanted to save her, then she'd just save her self.

"What the heck…"

"What are you doing?!"

"Come on guys, let's go.!"

But before they could even turn around, a giant light exploded at them, throwing them in different directions.

Hazel's eyes widened, realizing what she had just done, using the power she so desperately wanted to disappear.
