Summary: She may not think it, but she's special to him.

Pairing: SonicXElise

Author's note: I just felt like writing something with Sonic and Elise. Yay! This is just pure fluff, well, at least I tried to make it like that.

In a cramped apartment in Station Square, a blue hedgehog and a slender, young girl were laying down on a brown couch. The television was on, but it was muted. A window was slightly a jarred, outside they could hear cars honking, people talking loudly from way down below, and they could even hear some birds chirping. Sonic's apartment was small and cozy. In the kitchen, the stove was on. The stove was boiling some water so that Elise can have some Tea.

Back on the couch, Elise was tracing her fingers on Sonic's peach colored chest.

The blue hedgehog smiled, "You know something?"

Elise rested her head on Sonic's shoulder, "Hm," she hummed, slightly vibrating his shoulder. Her eye lids were half opened, she looked a little tired.

She used her right arm to cover his torso like a blanket.

The blue hedgehog lightly kissed her forehead, "You're really special to me, you know that?" He kissed her forehead again. Elise nodded her head.

The blue hedgehog stared up at the white ceiling, "I'm not really good at expressing my feelings, as you may know." Elise lifted her head off Sonic's shoulder and stared deep into his emerald green eyes.

"You know I love you, right?"

Elise nodded her head, "Of course I do."

Sonic smiled, "Good, cause I don't think I want to explain that to you again."

Elise playfully frowned, "Why not? I would love to hear that speech again," The slender human girl giggled softly.

The blue hedgehog smirked, "Come on, I have something really important to ask you," The hedgehog slowly sat up straight.

Elise looked at him in curiosity, "What is it?"

"Well," Sonic scratched his head, "it's kinda hard to ask, so bear with me, okay?"Elise slowly nodded her head.

"Well, I know we known each other for about ten months, but I feel like that's all we need."

"Excuse me, but what are you talking about, Sonic?" Elise lightly scratched her head.

Sonic put his hands up, "Hold on, hold on! Anyways, as I was saying, I feel like we have a strong connection, do we not?"

Elise's mouth gaped open, "Of course we do, I love you."

Sonic smiled, "Good, that's what I wanted to hear from you."

Elise blinked, "That's what you wanted to talk about?"

"Well, ugh, no," The slightly nervous blue hedgehog chuckled. "I actually wanted to ask you the biggest question I could ever ask."

Elise's eyes widened, "Bigger than asking me on a date?"

Sonic nodded his head with a smile on his happy face.

"Bigger than asking me to move in with you?" Elise questioned, then gasped.

Sonic still nodded his head.

"Even bigger than," Before Elise could finish that sentence, the blue hedgehog covered her mouth and then chuckled.

"Come on Elise, let me finish," The blue hedgehog slowly uncovered her mouth. Elise began to frown.

"I'm sorry Sonic," The human girl bowed her head in shame.

The happy go lucky blue hedgehog smirked, "No worries, just smile."

Elise automatically smiled, "Okay, so tell me," she folded her hands on her lap. "What is it that you want to ask me?"

"Okay," The blue hedgehog reached into his sky blue quills, "You're really special to me. I've never really felt like this with anyone else before." Sonic started to get a little nervous, but he was still confident. A velvet box rested in his palms, unseen from Elise. Sonic got off the couch and kneeled on the floor.

Elise looked at Sonic in shock, "Sonic?"

"Will you marry me?" He opened the box and a ring was inside it.

A tear slid down Elise's cheek, "Yes!" She exclaimed in pure happiness. Sonic grinned and kissed the slender human girl on the lips. He picked her up bridal style.

"I'm the luckiest hedgehog ever!" Sonic winked and did the thumbs up sign.

The End!

Yeah...
