Tears

Tears roll smoothly down my cheeks,

Tears of pain and sorrow.

I cry these tears

For you, my love.

I cry 'cause I need you.

*

I need you,

But you're gone forever.

Gone away from me.

*

Tears roll smoothly down my cheeks,

Tears for you and me.

*

I sit here on this lonely bench,

Wanting only you.

*

But you are gone,

And I'm alone.

*

Please come back to me.
