Chapter 1: Playtime
"Mama, what if those kids don't like me?"
She sighed, looking at the boy behind her, taking in his apprehensive expression as he shyly peeked at said kids from behind her skirt. The other children were screaming and laughing, something she found highly irritating and she wasn't surprised that Sesshomaru found it to be excessive. It wasn't like their quiet trips to the park, when no one was around. But as a mother, she needed to ease his fear, something that wasn't her forte in parenting, but had to do nevertheless.
With a gentle shove, she said, "Sesshomaru, go play."
