CHAPTER ONE
TRAGIC
Morning.
KRIIING!! KRIIING!!
"Megu, wake up!"
A girl with messy bubblegum pink hair bolted upright from bed. This girl's name was Megumi Minami. She dashed towards the door with utmost speed. Class q had a major assignment to finish that day.
After 20 minutes of preparation, Megu went into her room and checked out how she looked in her flowery dress she bought yesterday at the mall.
"Perfect!" she exclaimed.
Megu immediately said goodbye to her sister and went to the waiting shed which was two blocks away from their house.
She was supposed to meet with Kazuma, Kinta, Kyuu ,and Ryuu by the shed. However, when she reached the place, no one was there.
"Ack! They're late! Now I have to wait here!" cried Megu.
Megu sat down on the yellow bench and brought out a can of soda. She sipped quietly from her drink as she gazed at some kids who were happily playing with each other. As soon as the children disappeared, it started to drizzle but the sun was still up. It was a wonderful wet morning for Megu until a strong breeze passed by.
"WOW!! Strawberry-painted panties! Original!!" said a distinctive voice.
Megu blushed and the face of Kyuu flashed in her mind.
"KYUU!!!" she yelled, "COME RIGHT HERE THIS INSTANT!!"
Kyuu was just behind the shed. He was carrying a blue umbrella. When Megu was about to scold Kyuu for his perverted acts, Kinta and Kazuma arrived.
Kyuu stood up abruptly with excitement and said, "Hey guys, did you know? Megu's weari–"
Megu covered Kyuu's mouth while she pinched his right ear with her free hand.
She whispered evilly into his ear.
"Say a word to them or you're dead!"
Kyuu obeyed like a puppy.
When the atmosphere calmed down between the four of them, Kazuma tinkered with a gaming program in his laptop when he asked, "Where's Ryuu?"
"Yeah, it's been almost an half an hour but he's not here yet! I'm getting worried…" sighed Megu.
"Eeehhh!? Megu loves Ryuu! Megu loooves Ryuu!" sand Kinta and Kyuu in unison. Kazuma shook his head and laughed at how the boys teased Megu with childish behavior.
"Mmm. All I know is that Kyuu gets easily frustrated when Ryuu and Megu have a moment with each other," said Kazuma with a big grin.
Then, as if he knew what'll happen next, he immediately closed his laptop and ran across the road, escaping from Kyuu's angry stares.
Kyuu ran after Kazuma then Kinta suddenly shouted after them. "Hey, you two! Wait for me!"
Megu was left alone in the shed. Too bad. She was ready for a match with Kyuu, her punching bag.
She scrunched up her fist and ran after them but then when she was in the middle of the road…
SCREEEECH!
"MEGU! Watch out!"
CHAPTER TWO Silence (SNEAK PEEK!)
The next thing Megu knew was she was lying on the ground. Her dress was all wet from the mud. But this didn't bother her at all. She felt the rain although her eyes were tightly shut. Megu also felt air… warm air.. as it hit her face. She could hear someone breathing close.
She quickly opened her eyes and saw Ryuu's panic-stricken face, almost an inch away from her own.
