Marco watched as Jackie Lynn-Thomas sat alone in a bench, looking absolutely bored and-strangely enough-worried as many students walked past her. He turned to Star, who gave him a confident smile and a pair of thumbs up, and took a deep breath before he came out of hiding and sat next to her.
"Thanks for sitting next to me, Marco." Jackie said. "Look, I need help with something. Today's Saint Valentine's Day, and I was thinking that, in this special occasion, I could open something up: a kissing booth."
"A kissing booth?" Marco asked in genuine surprise.
"Yeah, I got the booth up, the place, all I need is a good kisser so that people don't feel like I ripped them off." Jackie explained, and at that point, she gave Marco a warm smile. "And that's where you go into the picture."
"And wha-"
Suddenly, Jackie kissed Marco in such a way as to catch everyone's attention, bringing forth gossip, amazement or just plain bewilderment as their lips separated and she stated, "That's definitely the style of an amazing kisser."
"Wait, you want me to be the kisser?" Marco asked, earning a nod from Jackie, "I don't know, what makes you having me as the kisser will bring many customers, if any?"
One second later, Marco was behind the kissing booth with Jackie by his side, and the two watched as a gigantic line of girls formed to get a kiss from him. To make it even more blatant, they held their money in the air and waved it frenetically.
After the shock wore off, Marco smiled, turned to Jackie and stated, "Jackie, this is the beginning of an amazing partnership."
And thus, Marco and Jackie exchanged smiles and a fist bump, for the remainder of the day was spent with Marco kissing everyone and Jackie counting the money. He didn't mind, for he had already got what he always wished: a kiss from Jackie.
