The Doctor yawned with boredom. He hadn't seen the Ponds in quite long time and he was getting agitated with the constant loneliness. Having decided that he had finally had enough, he zoomed around the console. He pushed buttons, pulled leavers, twisted knobs and adjusted the monitor. Destination, planet earth. The TARDIS shook and sparks flew as it flew through time and space.
The familiar wheezing ad groaning of the universe sounded as the Doctor (badly) parked his TARDIS on the Ponds' front garden. Amy and Rory had both heard the TARDIS' arrival and they simultaneously leaped off of the sofa and sprinted out of the door.
"Ponds!" yelled the Doctor in excitement as his two best friends shot into his opened arms. The three travellers hugged for a while enjoying each others company. Eventually, they pulled apart.
"Doctor! we've missed you so much!" declared Amy in her Scottish lilt.
"Yeah Doctor where have you been? It's been 6 months since we last saw you we were worried" added Rory, concern coloured his tone.
"No need to worry Ponds, I'm okay, I am the king of okay!" laughed the Doctor as he brushed off their concern.
Amy and Rory pulled the Doctor inside and made him some fish fingers and custard.
"That was delicious Amy!" announced the Doctor brushing breadcrumbs off of his face. Rory had tried some but he did not like it at all and was in the bathroom throwing up. The Doctor and Amy had laughed wholeheartedly at his reaction.
After Rory returned from the loo the time travelling crew made their way outside. Amy was just about to open the doors when a blood curdling scream pierced the air and their eardrums. Amy immediately stopped opening the door and was frozen with shock. The Doctor's face darkened.
"I know that scream anywhere. It's Rose!"
