This is my first entry-thing that I have ever submitted or anything. If you hate what I write, fine. I don't care. You chose to read it and I can't control whether you like it or not. These are a few poems that I wrote that can be related to the Avatar characters Zuko and Katara and the Fire Nation.
Disclaimer : I don't own anything for Avatar. The only things that I do own are the things that I own. Which is actually alot.
Summary : A few poems about Zuko,Katara, and the Fire Nation.
Dreams
Dreams, they are dreams,
Until you have awoke.
Breathing harsh or breathing light,
Depending on the dream you sought.
Be it nightmare or fantasy,
Reality or fiction,
Light or dark.
You shall always remember
The shade of your heart.
--------In that poem, sought is pronounced sote with a long o. When you think about it, if you know Avatar pretty well, Zuko would be breathing harsh because his dreams would be nightmares, reality, and dark. Katara would be breathing light because her dreams would be fantasy, fiction, and light. So this poem has to do with what kind of dreams Zuko and Katara would be having.
Yin and Yang
Yin and Yang,
Water and Fire.
Moon and Sun,
Winter and Summer.
Light and Dark,
Cold and Hot.
Rest and Activity,
Contract and Expand.
Complete opposites,
Yet together can make one.
--------In that poem, everything is pretty self-explanetory. It's kind of a Zutara (Zuko and Katara) thing because although they are complete opposites, opposites attract, and together, they can make one whole.
Born of Fire
Dragons and Phoenixes,
They are both made from Fire.
Dragons' eggs sit in Flames,
Until they hatch.
Then breathe it later,
When they are full-grown.
Phoenixes are born,
From the Ashes of Fire.
When they grow old,
They burst into Flames,
And are reborn.
A Dragon's scales can be,
Many different colors.
But mainly are the color of the Flames.
A Phoenix's feathers,
Are bright and beautiful.
The colors of Fire.
Reds, oranges, yellows, golds,
They can all symbolize,
The Flames within.
The Flames which bring,
Us warmth and light.
The burning Flames of Life.
The burning Flames of Fire.
--------This poem is more a Fire Nation one. It talks about two creatures that are born from Fire and can represent Fire and the Fire Nation.
Fire is red,
Water is blue,
Together they make steam,
As we will soon prove.
--------I just made up that little diddy-thingy to the tune of "Roses are red". It can be either Zuko or Katara saying it. I think it's more Zuko, though.
Okey - Dokee, Artichokee. There you have it. A few poems from the archive of the mentally insane pyress. If you like them, review. If you don't, still review and tell me why. I don't really care if you don't like it. It's your choice.
