When She's Mad
Iris and Cilan
One-Shot
"And who was that?" Iris questioned her boyfriend. She was cooking for the team, wooden spoon still in hand, apron still wrapped around her waist.
The green-haired connoisseur held his hands up defensively, being frightened by her tone and wooden weapon.
"Just an old friend! Someone I knew a long time ago!" Cilan cried, desprately trying to calm Iris down.
Iris' expression turned into complete disbelief. "Just a friend, huh?" She interrogated. She then held up her finger and thumb, spacing them about an inch, and exclaimed, "You two were this close to kissing! She was flirting with you like you two were married or something!" She then held the spoon in two hands, ready to strike her boyfriend if force was needed.
Cilan's expression softened. He straightened himself and came closer to her, stroking her cheek with his thumb gently. "Jealousy is a disgusting taste, is it not, my dear?" He asked softly.
In her state of anger, the wooden spoon snapped in half in her small hands. "I am NOT jealous!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. She turned around swiftly and stomped off, throwing the spoon remains at him.
Cilan rushed after her and grabbed her by the arm. He then swallowed her into a hug. "My dear, I am terribly sorry! My ignorance shall never hurt you again!" He exclaimed.
Seeing how formal he was being at the moment, and how sorry he acually was, she giggled softly. "It's okay Cilan." She said, "I forgive you."
Cilan sighed in relief.
Finally noticing her spoon in Cilan's hand, she gasped lightly. "You owe me a new spoon!" She cried aloud, getting upset again.
"When She Walks Away From You Mad, Go After Her."
VERY short. Sorry. Barely got over 400 words. This was just something I felt I needed to do to make up for my extended absence. I mean, I left for two months when I said I was gonna be back in, like, 15 days. I am a terrible procrastinator.
Sorry!
Review if you think I can actually be forgiven!
Toodles~! ;l
