Me: Hi! I wrote a poem about Rika; and please please forgive me if it is not good! I'm starting to write poems, but it's not good at all. Anyways, I thought of writing the poem below when I was watching Higurashi When They Cry. Rika is my second favorite character and Rena was the first one. I hope you will enjoy it, if I have any sentences that I got wrong, please tell me!
Rena: Wait, you forgot to do the disclaimer!
Me: You're right, I don't own Higurashi When They Cry!
Fate…
I tried and I tried,
But things just went wrong,
Sometimes I wondered,
That am I trapped in this deathly fate of mine,
I tried and tried,
When I thought the future I wanted is close,
It slipped away from me,
Fate is playing tricks on me.
I sat beside the window,
Wondering how many times,
Do I have to hear the cicada's crying voice this year?
The red liquor in my hand was shinning under the moon light,
I sighed, rubbing my head
While ignoring the squeaks of a certain person,
Only after 21 years old are allowed drink,
I didn't cared,
I was a thousand years old,
Even if I looked like a child,
After all;
I looked out at the window,
The moon was shining brightly,
And the Watagashi Festival was coming close,
I knew it was time,
My death is coming to me, slowly
I closed my eyes and an uneasy feeling soon took over me,
My death has already been decided,
Burnt black and mutilated…
