When Krusty heard the news, he was devastated.
Last time they saw each other was when he got promoted to star in another TV show. Normally he would be angry at this, but Krusty was proud of his half-brother. Therefore, he took him to Moe's Tavern to celebrate this moment.
The next months after the show is finished, he learned the devastating news that Luke had a massive stroke. At least he made a visit to the hospital to make him feel better. This shows one of his good qualities; caring for the half-brother whom he called 'worthless'. Good thing he played a prank of making him think he was a doctor to check up on him.
Ah, good times.
But now, Luke died from the stroke, and Krusty went to the funeral to give his respects.
"He was my half-brother," he started his speech. At least he saw Bart and Lisa are in attendance. After all, they became familiar with this man the moment he told them about his connection with him. "I call him worthless, and I even threw darts on the picture of us together. However, he became the figure I looked up to in getting my show back from Gabbo. I hope that dummy isn't invited to this funeral. I would like to show him the 'fun' in a funeral. Anyway, the point is, he was an inspiration to all of us, including me.
At first I didn't get it when he starred in various shows from Fox, but then I realized he saw me as a hero to all children which was why he agreed to take part in my comeback. When he told me he was going to star in another show, I was proud of him. Normally I was angry at this, but I was proud of him nevertheless. We even celebrated at Moe's to make his day worth while.
When I heard he got the stroke, I visited him, and I remembered I made him laugh by believing I was a doctor to check up on him.
Wherever you are now, rest in peace, my dear half-brother."
On the last part of his speech, Krusty broke down in tears from the news. After the funeral, he looked at Luke's tombstone. It stated his name and the years he lived on.
Coy Luke Perry III
October 11, 1966 - March 4, 2019
At least Krusty gets to write down one message there below the years he lived on.
Caring Half-Brother
As he left the cemetery, he could only wonder how will he and Fox move on without Luke Perry. It could take about days, or even months for that to happen.
Author's Note: Good thing I watched Krusty Gets Kancelled to see Luke Perry. May he rest in peace.
