Hashimoto Shiori tried to calm her beating heart as her turn was only two girls away. It was the school festival, and the Host Club had come up with something never seen in Ouran before. The kissing booth had naturally been the idea of the club president, Suoh Tamaki-san, and it turned out to be a huge success. All the hosts were standing behind the counter, smiling their charming smiles and kissing the cheeks of the girls, most of whom as good as fainted.

The girl before her received a kiss from both of the twins and Shiori was sure she didn't imagine the smoke coming from her ears and the hearts in her eyes. But then it was her turn. With her shy gaze lowered she gave the money to the grinning twins.

"Ah, Hashimoto-hime!" exclaimed the president, taking her hand. "Who do you wish to receive a kiss from?"

This was what Shiori had been dreading. Saying his name was as good as admitting her crush, and her tendency to blush wasn't making it any easier. But she had come, and now it was too late to change her mind.

"Morinozuka-san," she whispered, her eyes tightly fixed to the wood of the counter.

She didn't dare look up, not even when the hosts shuffled around and a shadow lay over her. Then a pair of big, warm hands cupped her face and she was forced to look up. Morinozuka Takashi smiled at her gently, tilted her head carefully sideways and bent down to kiss her cheek. At the touch of his lips she felt her legs give in under her and her head go light.

She opened her eyes only some twenty seconds later, not sure what happened. She was lying down, leaning against something firm but not firm enough to be a wall. She saw the smirking faces of the Hitachiin brothers, the knowing smile of Haruhi's and the happy eyes of Haninozuka Mitsukuni. She turned her head upwards to see who was behind her. Morinozuka-san smiled again, his dark eyes sparkling.

"Good, you're back with us!" rejoiced Suoh-san, energetic as always. "Just take it easy for now, hime. Mori-sempai will take care of you until you recover!"

Shiori felt she might lose consciousness again.
