"I look about the same age as you and the others" Alfred mumbled. He was visiting England's house for the week end. He was sitting on the couch watching television while England was finishing up something in the other room.
"Did you say something?" England asked walking in taking a seat next to US.
"I look about the same age as you and the other countries." He said again looking up at the country next to him.
"Yes and do you have a point?" he wasn't getting where America was heading with this.
"How old are you England?" He asked out of the blue.
"Over 1,000 I believe. I stopped counting the years long ago."
"I'm only 234. I'm really young in comparison." America looked back at the TV mesmerized by what was on. A small Dinging sound woke him from his trance.
"Oh that must be the scones!" England then got up to get the things he called food out of the oven. America just sat there and watched as the country that raised him walked out of the room. Once he knew the older country was out of hearing range he said
"If only you didn't leave me alone back then. Then maybe I could act my age and not be criticized. Maybe I could have been more prepared to enter the world."

A/N- compairing america to other countries america is alot younger other countries had time to grow up then america did. in hetalia england left then came back to find america all grown up. i think if he had stayed things might have been different. but thats just my opinoin on things. thanks for reading :)
