Chapter 1:
When Mica woke up, he felt as if a school bus was on him. He tried to scream, he tried to move, but everything was just useless. Suddenly, he heard this voice. It was dark and raspy and it scared Mica.
"W-W-Who's there?" Mica stuttered, his words barely coming out as a whisper.
"Do you want to see your sister and mother again?" The raspy voice said to him. Mica's body stiffed. He thought back to the last time he saw Aria and His mother. They were on their patio laughing and drinking lemonade, until the people came. The same people who came and took his father. They first attacked his sister, who screamed and yelled. Mica's mom ran and beat up on the guy who has Aria in his hands. The guy turned around and Mica saw a mean-spirited man with no emotion in his face, his soul was like a never ending hole of eternal darkness. The men took Mica and his mother to their van where the duct taped their hands and feet together. Shortly after that, Mica felt immense pain to the back of his head and passed out. When Mica returned his attention back to the raspy voice, he was getting upset. He didn't know where he was, what he was doing here and who the raspy voice is. He knew that he to find out these things, but he didn't know that the consequences were severe.
