This is it! My third and most likely final one-shot! I totally forgot to upload it last night, but I hope you still like it! Its # 15) Strawberry Jam in the same list of 101 Kisses. Enjoy!
"Hey Jackson!" Lilly said as she skated into the Stewart house, scaring the poor boy half to death as he was making himself a sandwich.
"Hi Lilly. Miley's not home; she and Dad are at a Hannah concert. Why aren't you with them?"
"I'm so fed up with Hannah-this, Hannah-that, and really, you can only hear The Best of Both Worlds so many times before you explode!" She exclaimed.
"That feeling is certainly mutual. So, then if you know Miley isn't here, why are you?"
"I figured out why I usually go with her- I have no friends when Oliver isn't around. Besides, I figured you would be doing something fun, since Miley and Mr. Stewart aren't here. Hey, is that a strawberry jam sandwich??"
"Why yes it is. Do you want some?"
"Yes! I LOVE strawberry jam! Once, when I was little, it was the only thing I ate for a whole week. I'm completely addicted." She replied, eagerly trying to grab half of the sandwich.
"Really? It's my favorite too. Sure, you can have some." He replied, handing her the unbitten half of the sandwich.
"Thanks. Wanna watch tv?" She offered.
"Sure. Is there anything good on?"
"Let's seeā¦its Monday night, so there's a new episode of Greek on. Do you watch that?"
"Of course! Ashleigh, Casey, and Rebecca are so hot!"
"Cappie is the best! I'd marry him immediately. He's so goofy, unpredictable, and amazingly good-looking." Lilly fantasized.
"You just described me, you know." Jackson remarked.
"Amazingly good-looking, pssh. You give yourself too much credit, Jackson."
"Are you saying I'm ugly?" He fake-whimpered.
"No, you're from the same gene-pool as Miley, so you were bound to get some good looks too." She smirked, "Just not as amazing as Cappie." She sighed, and he pouted.
"How can you resist this?" He asked, gesturing to himself.
"I guess I just have self pride."
"Ouch. And after I shared my sandwich with you and everything. I'm disappointed." He replied, shaking his head.
"Speaking of which, you have strawberry jam across your lips."
"Oh," he smirked, "Do you want it?"
"Sure." She replied, leaning in closer so that their noses were practically touching. She could sense that Jackson had tensed up, and decided to mess with him before pulling back, which had been her original intension. So, she climbed onto his lap so that she was straddling him, never taking her eyes off of his. She reached out and lightly ran her forefinger over his top and bottom lip and licked her finger.
"Mmm!" She exclaimed, jumping off of him and resuming her original position on the couch next to him, reabsorbing herself into the show as it came back from the commercial, acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary.
"W-w-what was that?" Jackson asked after he came out of his daze.
"Cappie and Casey just kissed even though she's dating Evan. It was all part of his plan when he made the teacher make them partners for the project they're working on. They so belong together."
"Lilly. I don't mean on the show. I meant what you just did."
"You asked if I wanted it and I accepted, what's the problem?" She smirked, turning to face him and finding that they were very close together. Each thought about the other for a short moment, realizing that nobody else completed them in the same way, and understood the other so perfectly because they were so alike but still had the quirks that made them unique.
"You forgot some." He spoke, leaning in further.
"Oh, my mistake. I better get it." She replied, leaning in so that their lips met in a sweet kiss that both of them knew wasn't only about the jam, but probably wouldn't have happened for a while without it.
