When mystery falls at your doorstep, Literally.

He crossed the road keeping his head down, it was chucking it down. It hadn't been before he stepped out to get the shopping... he really should have listened to Sherlock and taken the damn umbrella. He got to the other side of the pavement and plunged his hand into his pocket searching for the key. He climbed the steps to 221B Baker Street and unlocked the door.
Then he heard a gasp, a muffled thump and the sound of a handbag spilling its contents. He turned to see what had happened.
A girl, early twenties he believed, had collapsed, the few other pedestrians who were outside had also stopped. He climbed back down the stairs, not hesitating and picked her up.
"Can you get the other stuff for me? I'll carry her inside. I'm a doctor." He said to one of them. The man nodded and picked up her belongings placing them in her lap. "Thank you."
He turned again and climbed the stairs, pushing open the door with his side. As it shut he heard the man upstairs move and call out
"John! Is that you?" He made an annoyed sound and started climbing the stairs inside. Of course Mrs. Hudson was out. It's Wednesday.
"Sherlock! Come out here and help me!" his voice clearly did not leave room for argument.
"You know john, I finally did the eyeball experiment. Great fun, even if there is gunk everywhere." Sherlock was clearly not listening as John heard him slowly coming down.
"Sherlock!" it was less patient this time. Then He appeared a few steps above him.
"Watson... Why have you brought me a body?" He seemed almost... happy at the body's sudden appearance.
"I haven't brought you a body. She collapsed outside... and it's raining."
"And as the gentleman you are you couldn't just leave her there. And I told you it would rain." Sherlock looked slightly smug before it passed.
"Oh shut up and help me!" John growled. Sherlock took the things from her lap and the shopping bag and walked back up the stairs. John paused a moment then followed.
"Why would I bring you a body?"
"I want one..." Sherlock had spilled all the girls belongings onto the table, John noticed as he placed her on the sofa. He brushed the hair from her face.
"She's attractive don't you think?" John stated, uncertain. Sherlock threw him a look.
"Hmm? I know what I can tell you. She's in her early twenties... 23 at a guess; she is in a relationship but not happy and has constant contact to friends... loyal easily and she has a cat"
"Why do you still amaze me when you do that?"
"Because simple things please simple minds." Sherlock replied. "Want to know how I came to that conclusion?"
John nodded, knowing Sherlock enjoyed reciting the way his mind works. You could tell by how his eyes light up and the way that when he's done he's slightly pink in the face.
"Well, she has a bus pass, I'm assuming to university, so 20s, she has a box of unopened heart shaped chocolates and an expensive looking necklace in another unopened box, so unhappy relationship. Her phone is showing 3 unread messages all from different people. Constant contact, and for that you have to be loyal. And there is cat hair on everything."
There is was. That's how he came to the conclusion and he is indeed happy. His tongue swipes out to wet his lips and he turns back to the girl.
"now.. why did she collapse. You're the doctor... put the kettle on."
John groaned. This is going to be a long day.
