The I quietly stared across the field. it had been 10 years since the beginning of the tournament. the soldier had passed away, and the green dinosaur obsessed human had begun to waste away. the champion eater was the champion of all the tournaments yet again…

The pink-haired girl slash former student was wiser now. the former insatiable appetite was replaced by a infinite restraint. the star warrior had skill, and a large knowing of right and wrong. in addition, she had grown over the last 10 years. Where she used to wear pink clothes, she now used heavy armor, concealing her gender. In addition,she had the ability to freely use her abilities anywhere. It is the reason she had been the champion in the first place.

Those harsh words had made her hate me. I wonder if I had done anything different, we could be together. I shook my head. It never did good to think about her. I quietly walked to my vehicle.

I crashed headfirst into a wall. the final championship for the year hung in the balance. The battle had turned into a swordfight.
My opponent had to be her.
She tried stabbing her blade into my prone body. I rolled just in time. My flurry of strikes were parried easily. she had me against the wall. Panting, I tried hitting her with the flat of my blade. she dodged easily. I was on my knees. She grabbed me, and prepared to kill. I muttered my final words. She dropped her sword and ripped my mask off. In half a second, her lips were on mine. The entire crowd was cheering. I swear I could see most of the smashers cheering us on. the rest were muttering curses over my luck.
Not bad for a knight.
