Hello everybody, here's my first fanfiction ever. Well, technically the second, since this is a rewrite of another one I made. Anyway, enjoy the introduction chapter! Read and review!

"Hello, buddies!" Kaeloo said, looking and sounding enthusiastic as she approached her friends near the entrance of their new high school. "Hello," replied Stumpy, not looking up from his video game console. Despite having the I.Q. of a brick, at least he knew how to hide it so it wouldn't be confiscated by any teachers.

"Quack (Hi!)" greeted Quack Quack. The boy had been the subject of several strange science experiments which had resulted in the inability to say any word except "Quack", but fortunately, those around him could usually understand what he meant.

"Hey, froggy," greeted Mr. Cat, looking bored as usual. While he was very intelligent, he wasn't too thrilled to be going back to school. In fact, he was the whole reason they were moving to a new school – he'd gotten bored and blown up the old one, and then pretended he'd mixed those chemicals together by accident. None of the kids really believed him, but decided they were better off not telling the truth to the authorities.

"Keep your distance, Kae-loser," said Pretty. "I don't want people to think we're friends." Pretty used to be somewhat nice to Kaeloo when they were little, but she became more and more of a rude bratty snob as they grew up. Eventually, the only reasons she hung out with the group were that her twin sister Eugly wanted to spend time with Quack Quack, her boyfriend, and that Mr. Cat, who Pretty had a massive crush on, was also there. Pretty could never quite get the message that Mr. Cat utterly despised her.

"Hello," Eugly signed, using sign language since she couldn't speak. Eugly was much nicer than her twin, but was still a doormat who did whatever Pretty told her to.

"Where's Olaf?" asked Kaeloo, wondering where the last member of the group was. "Who cares?" asked Mr. Cat. As if on cue, Olaf strutted up to them with his robot, Serguei. "Bow down before your emperor, peasants!" he demanded. Everyone just stood there. Realizing that they had no intention of obeying those instructions, he left to go find some other kids to yell at. "Let's just pretend we don't know that guy," Pretty suggested. "Agreed," everyone said in their own way.
