For Em, that picture you posted put the idea in my head and this is what came out. I hope you like it. ~G

Trevor Langan said his goodbyes and walked out of the squad room. Amanda spun her chair to look at Liv. "He's tall."

Sitting down at her desk Liv chuckles. "Yeah like that's a skill set?"

"You two have history?" Amanda questioned eying Liv's reaction.

"I don't date lawyers." Liv starting looking at fills on her desk.

Amanda tilted her head "Since when?"

Liv closed the file she opened and looked back at Rollin's. " I stopped dating lawyers when I married one."

This news shocked Amanda and almost knocked her out of her chair. Finn just sat back in his chair laughing watching the scene unfold. "You were married?"

"No, I am married. Were implies that I've been divorced." Liv smirked and winked at Finn.

Amanda rolled her chair over to Liv's desk. "Wait, I'm confused. What about Cassidy? You two were dating and living together." She just kept stuttering and trying to make sense of what was going on in front of her.

Liv got up and fixed herself a cup of coffee. "Well I'm glad someone bought that load of shit. Cassidy needed a cover and somehow I pulled the short straw."

"Yo Amanda, the funny thing is you've met Liv's better half before." Finn laughed enjoying watching his partner at a lost.

"I have? How could I have met your husband and not known you two were together?" Amanda starting guessing names of all the men she had met in the last few years.

After about five minutes of just laughing and saying no Liv was about to have mercy on her when the steady clicking of heals could be heard coming down the hall. Giving in would have to wait.

The clicking stopped as the tall blonde stopped next to Liv's desk. "Well hello Sergeant, long time no see."

Before Liv could respond Amanda interrupted. "Hey welcome back counselor, how was your trip? Wait, more importantly, did you know that Liv is married?"

Alex looked at Amanda waiting for a punch line till she looked and saw Finn laughing and shaking his head then she turned and saw Liv trying to hide her own smile. Catching on Alex looked back to Amanda. "Of course, I was there when she got married. Very beautiful wedding. "

"Well damn. So who is it? She won't tell me" Amanda said jumping up out of her chair.

"Well if you really want to know…"Alex started as she turned back to Liv and pulling her into her arms and claiming the lips she'd been missing for 3 months.

Amanda's mouth dropped opened and her eyes looked like they were ready to fall out of her head.

Liv wrapped Alex tightly in her arms and returned the kiss with everything she had. When they couldn't go without air anymore they just held each other.

Liv whispered in Alex' ear " When I heard the clicking coming down the hall it took everything I had not to take off running but the timing was just too perfect. Amanda was trying to hook me up with Trevor."

Alex spun around and looked at Amanda like she had lost her mind. "That's pretty funny considering Liv can't stand him."

Finn walked over and stole Alex from Liv for a hug. "Hey Counselor, we've missed you around here."

"Missed you guys too Finn." Alex returned the hug. "Which is why I got to surprise Liv. I'm home for good. No more travel."

Liv let out a whoop and grabbed Alex in a hug and spun around. "And on that note ladies and gentlemen we are out of here."

Liv grabbed her jacket and her wife's hand and headed for the door of the squad. Stopping at the door she turned and met Amanda's still stunned face. "Oh Rollin's, in case you missed it. This is my wife."

Finn's laughter could be heard down the hallway as Liv and Alex walked out arm in arm. Yup dating lawyers just didn't cut it anymore. Marry them was the only way to go.
