October 24th

'Ello again. It's your daily Edward entry before I head to the Great Hall this morning. Of course, nothing has changed since last night because sleep came so quickly after writing in this. The others are already out the door, so I took the time to say that I feel that today's going to be a good day!

October 24th

So Journal, you know how I said I felt that today was going to be a good day? Well, that feeling was a lie. A complete, major lie! In D.A.D.A., we were learning a new defensive spell for Dueling Club, and I was paired with Emily. They could have given me Granger like last time! No, they decided that I had to duel my crush.

I know the redness in my face was visible, I just know it! I just couldn't battle Emily. Have you seen that smile? That beautiful head of brown hair. Her skin looked like as smooth as the chocolate on a Chocolate Frog.

Wait, does that make sense? That sounds kind of wrong… but you get the idea! I didn't want to duel against her, and that was proven when she took me out after two spells. I didn't know I could get that embarrassed in a class. A top 10 duelist to be bested after two spells, by my crush no less? Yea, needless to say it was not the day I thought it was going to be.

I'm staking out in my room until I can face the others… I can't face Emily after this.

October 27th

Okay, Journal, I couldn't hide in my room forever, but I did try! Give me that credit at least. The episode in D.A.D.A. was gone from everyone's memory, thank Merlin, but that didn't stop the fear of having to face Emily.

I'm only 16 for Merlin's sake! Cut me some slack. Seamus and Dean gave me an idea that might help me with this fear, but should I listen to them? I don't know, but they're already scheming.

If I die, and someone finds and reads this; it's their fault.

October 31st

I just came back from the Halloween Ball. I think I could die! Of happiness this time! Because of what those blokes did with getting me a mask along with a costume, Emily didn't know who I was, so I stepped up to her!

I was all mysterious and whatnot, and it felt so good to just talk to her because she was definitely into it. I guess those general statements about what girls like was right after all.

Does this mean I'm over facing Emily without my mask?

Do you think I'd be weird if I kept it on the rest of term? I'm so thankful I didn't spell you to talk back; I don't think I'd like your answer.

Until I write again, I shall talk to her once more… hopefully!
